(I know I'm behind. Life has been rough. Gonna try to catch up) Decvinyl Worship - Day 18 (Favorite record label) This one was hard to choose cause I don't know what my favorite record label now is. There are several ones that only put out quality stuff. I decided I would go with a favorite from when I wasn't jaded by heavy music and that's Black Market Activites. At one point, I had almost every CD that was released on that label; not for some collector reasons but because only good stuff was coming out. Too bad they faltered and never released much vinyl. @metalbladerecords should talk to guy and revive it since this wave of stuff is coming back around. Khann - Erode (?/500) Khann was a a band that put out two records. Their vocalist/guitarist went on to join Ken Mode, Inter Arma and some other bands. Khann was a the perfect blend of screamo and post metal. I know that sounds like a weird combo but it's great. One out of three records from my IndieMerchStore haul: Khann - Erode LP Trans Blue Marble | Black Market Activities I made a couple of good deals and even scored something I was hunting for for years for real cheap, but let's start with this one! After the raging 'Tofutopia', Khann really surprised me with this much more dynamic and very organic record. Instead of furious Grindcore, Khann diversified their music tremendously and drenched 'Erode' in heavy Math Rock vibes. I never knew this came out on vinyl, let alone such a beautiful variant. I wish 'Tofutopia' was available on wax as well... someone should put it out!
