Tyra started us off on our button-pressing dog-human communication adventure by using the « outside potty » button yesterday. The button was available for less than 24 hours and it had been modeled only twice. I was definitely shocked she used it after she ate her dinner and while I was preparing mine. They seem slightly scared of the buttons when I bring a lot of attention to them. We modeled « walk » for the first time today and I had them press the button with their paws before going on a walk. We’ll see how it goes! I was really surprised Tyra used the button so quickly. I hope she continues. Once there was a girl who had no self esteem, but oh let me tell you how that girl could dream. She was always social tried to make everyone smile, but I caught her one day w a tear in her eye something she knew how to hide quite awhile, no one would ever guess all the things that she knew the things that she faced all the troubles she webt through she was smart she was caring but it mattered not much for others her days flew. She loved to daydream never to one a cross word, and it seemed still when she spoke she was not always heard. She dreamed of laughter days long and bright, and moonlight sonatas to light up her night. She danced in the rain and up on the stage, however; each day was just a turning of a page. She wained every moment for a falling star to make a wish, and when she thought she had it figured out well but there is not much life cannot dish. She wanted w her whole heart to not feel broken inside, but the only thing she was good at was providing for others so on she did hide. Oh there were moments she walked on the stars, but then the clouds came and she fell from afar. She wondered discretely as time went on by, if she really had a mission something worthwhile, as she glanced in the mirror to her eyes did appear a woman that stood who kept memories and tears. She discovered her mission was a gift that she once had that she carried this whole time now a woman from a child, to give away laughter giggles and smiles. To be a friend that's trusted an not let one memory leak, for only if she could be that to someone her existence wasn't so meek. A rarity to find someone practiced enough, that they can offer to others someone to trust. So she watches the pages as they turn going by and she still ever so practiced no one ever wonders why. Her mission may not have been to just find her heart its place, but to carry the burdens for others she is strong in that way. So beware bold post but I keep hearing people over and over asking my personal results from the tanner, purposely I rubbed the tanner everywhere the sun would normally hit because face it i didn't want to be pasty white when I walked out when we went to the beach this summer. I rubbed the tanner everywhere and left lines like real tan lines. Last week we had a speaker at work talk to us about courage & what it means to be courageous. He encouraged us to write down our Top 3 Fears. Not surface level fears like being afraid of spiders, but REAL DEAL HOLY FIELD life fears. He then told us, when you write down your fears, write a plan about how you’re going to navigate these fears. Not to get rid of them necessarily, but to get THROUGH them. I thought this was super cool because we often hear about writing down our plans for our goals, but never about our fears. Remember courage is not the absence of fear, but instead, the resistance towards it.
