Made some big progress this week. Installed the steering pin/center pin, pitman arm, the tire rods, and rod ends. The steering system is almost complete. Need to add the steering the new steering damper from @limebugvw and I’ll be set. Yes, you are correct the drag-link is shot, and needs to be replaced, but we’re going to have to come back to that. I guess I have a type. My favorite version of the Levis jacket is the 1950’s 507xx or “Type 2” Denim Jacket. Something I learned is there are actually four variations of the type 2 jacket with small but important differences. Officially the Type Two model ran from 1953-1961. With three variations released in that time. With a rare fourth European version that’s been found from the mid 60’s. This is after the official discontinuation of the type 2 model in the US, which is what makes it unique. •Type 2 release dates: 1953, 1955, 1958 & mid 60’s (euro).
