복셀은 3d이기 때문에, 2d 픽셀 아트처럼 착시가 적용되지 않는 것 같다. 마인크래프트처럼 사각형 형태에 텍스쳐 씌운 형태의 표현은 별로라고 생각되므로, 어떻게 하는 게 좋을지는 다소 시간을 갖고 생각을 해봐야 할 것 같다. Since voxels are 3d, it doesn't seem to apply optical illusions like 2d pixel art does. I’m so nervous, but it’s time to share it. First model and first concept art for our game! Behold and tell me in the comments what you think — because it’s really important to me. THE MODEL This is the model of our main character — he’s a guy in a kind of spacesuit. The designs I looked to the most for inspiration were #doomguy and #metroid costumes. Also I really love the simplicity, brutality and functionality of the #deadspace costume, the helmet especially. I bet it shows a bit in my design here :) Can you spot it? I’ve been struggling to find the good color combination for the suit. The goal was to create a classic-looking spacesuit, but with an interesting twist and my style. So the main color is white, which is a good choice for a game that is supposed to be gloomy: the player character will be visible on a dark background. The visor will be glowing. I guess I will tweak this in Unity itself. Modelled in #magicavoxel, rendered in #voxelmax, background added in @pixelmator. ABOUT A GAME We’re working on our first ever game with my girlfriend. It is in planning and figuring put stages, and I’m currently designing the whole concept art scene for like a demo level.
