Is the #jrpass #japanrailway pass worth it in 2024? I personally love the JR pass and always get atleast a 7 day pass (I have gotten 14 day passes too). You can see the price increase this year (50,000 yen for a 7 day pass) is slightly more expensive than the old 14 day passes (47,000 for 14 days). I do love the freedom to move around #japan. I usually accompany my JR pass with local trains/trams/streetcars (using IC cards to pay) and getting day passes (1,2 or 3 day) #subway passes in the cities Im in. 14th trip to #japan. There was a lot of #castles on this trip, similarily like last year's #japantrip. I really wanted to get the #gojoin for every castle I visited. This is Nijo Castle in #kyoto. The castle was actually bigger and the castle grounds were also very large. Inside were a lot of rooms. @shu_sicilia_crazy and I were joking about being a guest and finding your room. Or if there was an attack on the other side, the distance to run. Eki stamp books, 100 best castle stamp book, Castle seal book (Gojoincho), All Japan Tower association stamp book, Udon noodle passport book, Shrine Goshuincho (Shintoism), Temple Goshuincho (Buddhism), and Taiwan MRT train stamp book. Stamps (ink stamps) are offered free at many train stations, tourist attractions and tourist info centers. Going to Castles in Japan, you can get the 'Gojoin' or Castle seal. Here are Gion Castle, Nakakuki Castle, and Washi Castle as the "Oyama clan castles". Oyama is one of the #Shinkansen stops going north. I often stop here and then take the local train to Sano City where my friend lives. This time, I went outside of Oyama station and explored. Going to Castles is also amazing. They started offering a "Gojoin". It is their version of goshuin. If you love Japanese history and samurai culture, these are aimed at you. Very historic to see any castle (anywhere honestly), but there is an incentive that the money for a Gojoin goes to help many castles with reconstruction and other causes. Part of my "Golden route" is Takamatsu city of Shikoku Island. Shikoku is known for the Udon noodles... so much there is a mascot (Udonnoww). Not to mention there is Udon passport and an Udon marathon+picnic (annual event). I obviously can't be around for that time, but I definitely want to go to those places and stamp it in the Udon Passport. Wandering Leopard 2024 pt1 initial idea. A few years back, I was suppose to go to Hokkaido, but they had the earthquake and New Chitose airport was under repair. So now, this trip, I want to visit Sapporo, Noboribetsu (maybe Hakodate?) I will land at NRT and then fly direction to Hokkaido that afternoon. After Hokkaido, I'll fly to Osaka. There are a few places I want to see, Kobe and Awaji Island. I've been thinking about the night bus from Osaka to Tokyo (Dream Sleeper bus) just for the experience. I still have to plan more of the Kanto and lower Tohoku region still. #wanderingleopard #f31club

I should explain my thought process as to why i am building this car the way I do. The car is an extension of one's self right? The whole narrative of Project Leopard wasnt about perfection or shortcuts or IG/social media clout... it was to rebuild my favorite car with my friends. IT'S A TRIBUTE CAR to things that i find most important being in the car scene (im no shop or influencer, just an enthusiast). The paint didnt have to be ABSOLUTELY perfect, just decent. The car is flawed (like the person). But its who that paints it that mattered. Why did I want Greg/Sakura Garage to paint it? He was an F31 brother and Id rather have his 'signature' on the car and him be a big part of the build, just like many other friends and family from US, Canada and Japan.
