I recently opened the @whind Kasbah Stars Radiance Renewing Night Serum. I received this serum for free to test and review, via Marie Claire Beauty Drawer. This is a milky night serum that resurfaces and exfoliates, whilst repairing the skin barrier for clearer, smoother, glowing skin overnight. This serum contains Lactic and Glycolic Acid to renew, Salicylic Acid to clarify, and Lactobionic Acid and Gluconolactone to hydrate, allowing the skin barrier to repair. Formulated with Aloe Vera to soothe, and rich in antioxidants to protect the skin whilst you sleep. I had used it a couple of times when I began noticing little brown ‘spots’ on my face as I was patting it into my skin. I wondered where these little ‘spots’ were coming from and then noticed the bottle had little ‘scratch’ marks on it, where parts of the label had come off. I have had to remove all the label as it was becoming more and more of a problem, with more and bigger ‘spots’ of the label appearing on my hands and face! So now it is just a completely ‘bald’ bottle (swipe left for a picture)! 🤣 I use this about once or twice a week, as I don’t use it on the same nights as I use retinol and I also like to have a night for just using hydrating serums / products without any actives. The serum has a lovely lightweight , milky texture which sinks into the skin quickly, not leaving any sticky or tacky residue. It leaves my skin feeling lovely and smooth in the morning. It’s just a shame about the packaging, especially as the full price for this serum is £80 for 30ml! One would think that because it turns into oil this would be heavy/greasy on one’s skin but fret not, this is where it gets interesting as it neither felt heavy/tacky nor uncomfortable on my skin. Instead, it just comfortably coats my skin as if I didn’t apply anything at all w/ its skin-like finish! Also, it initially leaves behind a dewy finish but later on becomes a velvety soft & silky satin-like finish. ✨ This is a great evening mask pack as it feels nourishing to the skin but still is able to feel lightweight which makes it interesting! Also, it is able to leave behind a well-moisturized and well-hydrated finish the very next day. Moreover, my skin feels silky smooth, soft, supple, and plump. Unfortunately, there is no spatula included. Texture-wise, this has a light pink soft water gel cream kind of consistency that would just melt upon contact and is fast to absorb. Also, this smells like I am being transported to a fresh rose garden. It just smells absolutely divine & relaxing. Plus the scent does linger for a while which is a bonus for me! 😌👌 I love the consistency of this gel cream as it melts upon contact and feels lightweight on my skin while at the same time providing a burst of hydration without the heavy/greasy feeling. Also, the softening effect of this cream is immediately felt as it leaves a velvety silky soft, and smooth satin-like finish. This cream just feels luxurious and refreshing on my skin as it has an initial subtle cooling sensation upon contact and leaves an instant fresh well-moisturized and well-hydrated finish while at the same time giving my face a nice subtle healthy glow! ✨☺️ This water cream is perfect for the current summer season and for those with oily skin as it just effortlessly packs a punch that doesn’t leave one’s pores feeling clogged or suffocated. I also like how this leaves my face feeling soft, smooth, plump, and supple due to the Rose Dew Complex w/c combining HA and Glycerin ensuring the long-lasting moisture and hydration it leaves behind. Took my time to test this product before making a post about it, but I was sold after the first use. I’ve been using the Kasbah Stars Radiance Renewing Night Serum for a little over a week now, and my skin has never looked clearer and smoother! As someone who’s always chasing THE perfect glow, these two SPFs have a special place in my stash but I prefer one of these over the other, just a little. Read on to know which one made the cut! ✨Composition and protection factor - TYF is SPF 30 PA++. Frequent reapplication needed for longer sun exposure. Mix of chemical and physical filters. Supergoop glow screen is SPF 30 as well and no PA rating mentioned on the package, however it is available in spf 40 pa+++ variant too. Uses chemical filters. ✨How it feels on the skin - TYF has a runny, moisturising, lotion like feel to it and instantly hydrates the skin while not overdoing it. Oily skin types can skip moisturiser. Glow screen has a creamy texture but somehow feels lighter than TYF when blended. Less moisturising than TYF too. ✨ which one do I recommend- Coming to the most important part, both of these leave a beautiful pearlescent glow on the face which is not at all shimmery but rather glowy. However the only con with Supergoop glow screen is, if I follow the three finger method with glow screen it leaves my skin looking a tad too golden and bronzed. Not the most flattering look, especially on textured skin. So instead i like to layer it on top of my regular sunscreens just as a glowy base. On the other hand I can use TYF sun essence on its own or paired with other spfs, works fine both ways. Both have zero white cast. Overall I’d say I love both but thank you farmer does take the cake for me! ————————————————-

Rock the Kasbah. @whind have released a new addition to their Range of Moroccan inspired sensorial range which uses a blend of acids to gently exfoliate and clarify your skin: AHAs, BHAs and PHAs. Poly-Hydroxy Acids or PHAs are second generation AHAs which are larger in size and exfoliate only the very surface of the skin, so they are gentler in action with less irritation. They also stop glycation, a process which can weaken collagen, as well as having antioxidant properties. Summary: PHAs might be your sensitive skin’s #wellaging friend. Kasbah Stars is an acid serum with a difference. PHAs Gluconolactone and Lactobionic Acid support surface renewal complimenting the slightly deeper action of Glycolic Acid and clarifying Salicylic acid to give you brightened and smoothed skin texture. For those worried about the potential irritation, this formulation contains Aloe Vera to soothe and calm. As with all Whind products, this one is a sensorial experience, with gentle scents of lavender to prepare you for a calming evening routine. I’ve used this a couple of times and it is a super gentle way to a brighter morning complexion. Now, while instructions are that this is suitable for nightly use, I personally would never use any acid serum nightly as my skin is unlikely to be happy. 1-2 x a week is my happy place and this is a beautiful option for that Moroccan spa experience at home. Pairs beautifully with the Kasbah Moonlight Overnight Mask.
