How about another Brown Anole?<br />This one looks quite different from the previous one, and that's because they are highly variable.<br /><br />Majority of the anoles I saw that day though were a dull greyish brown with the yellow stripe down the back.<br /><br />Experts believe brown anoles were brought to Singapore amongst some of the plants which were imported here for the Gardens by the Bay attraction. Within Bay South they're actually fairly common, I saw at least 8 in the three hours I was there. .<br /><br />While it was once believed to be confined to the Marina Bay area, it has since appeared in multiple locations across the island. However, since only one or two individuals were reported it is unclear if the population is dispersing naturally or if people are catching them as pets and releasing them thereafter.
