Many years ago I was gifted this novel from my boyfriend at the time (shout out to Jeremy, aka Cubby the Clown). This was before I set off for a journey that led me to amazing stories, experiences, and the people I was able to share them with (see: @maesykitching). Since then, this story has become a staple in my life for myself and as a gift to others. Each copy I've purchased has since been gifted to people I feel could grow or learn or experience value from their interpretation of the story. As I broach into an emotionally turbulent time, I felt the need to reexperience the words of Paulo Coelho and see how I experience The Alchemist this time around. I, wholeheartedly, recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Hands down my favourite. On to the next translation of the greatest story.
