Santa Barbara Main PO. 💌 My photo doesn’t quite do it justice, but it is one of the more architecturally significant buildings in downtown Santa Barbara. It was designed in the 1930s by a Pasadena architect, Reginald Johnson, who enjoyed Spanish Colonial and Mission Revival styles, but also incorporated Art Deco elements in his architecture (if you zoom in, you can see chevron detail and bronze doors). 💛 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
Stamp selection-wise — not the most exciting, but I got some Holiday Elves 🎁 and Hubble Telescope 🔭 stamps in what was probably my final postal purchase of the year, since the weekend and New Year are here! ☺️
