Wow, just wow 🤯 Took me 22 whole days to complete this book. It was a rough month of starting grad school, balancing that schedule and balancing my time for reading.
The book definitely took off to a slow start and I was losing interest to not really feeling the vibe I felt from the ACOTAR series. But man oh man, part 2 of this book everything popped off and I’m more excited to read than ever. I truly loved the found friends Celeana makes in her not so great circumstances. The battle between who to trust and not helped with the intensity of the book. Celeana just opening the floodgates of her badass assassin vibes. Getting to see her true potential in this book, while also the feminine side of her came through in her friendship and the balls she attended. This book truly made up for the flop of Throne of Glass. The mystery and sneaking around the castle helped keep the spark alive.
I’m excited to dive deeper into the next book and hopefully get to read more about Celeana, the badass woman she is. Definitely more time into reading will help keep the spark.
