SKIN OF A SINNER 🔪🎭 My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice Rating: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Okay this book was just mind blowing….🤯🤯. I haven’t enjoyed a dark romance novel after Haunting Adeline, until this. It had the perfect blend of romance, angst, hate to love, killing the love of his life’s abusive family (the entire part was hilarious but scary too, but hilarious 😂😂😂) and best of all exploration of kinks…this book kept me on my feet and all the while I was guessing how this book would end and the ending was simply so good. Genuinely loved the plot (plot being Roman)…jk 😂😂. [RECOMMANDATIONS LIVRES] The deal de @ellekennedy33 au édition @hugonewromance 📖 [AVIS] L'écriture de l'autrice est vraiment fluide et agréable à lire. 🪶 Chaque mot semble être choisi avec soin, ce qui rend le récit à la fois doux et puissant. Les dialogues entre les personnages 😀 sont vraiment bien faits, ils sonnent juste et créent une belle dynamique ⭐ entre eux. On s'attache facilement à Hannah et Garett, ils ont tous les deux des histoires touchantes 🥹 qui les rendent très humains. Même si on peut deviner un peu ce qui va se passer entre eux, ça reste captivant à suivre, et les événements qui surviennent sont vraiment prenants émotionnellement. La romance 💕 est omniprésente tout au long de l'histoire, et ça rend chaque page pleine de sentiments. La scène un peu plus épicée 🔥 est bien dosée, elle ajoute juste ce qu'il faut de piquant sans trop en faire. Bien que le suspense ne soit pas le point fort de l'histoire, il y a quand même quelques rebondissements 🔄 surprenants qui maintiennent notre curiosité. Et la couverture 📕, surtout dans sa version poche relié collector, est superbe avec ses couleurs vives et son design soigné. Ça ajoute vraiment à l'ensemble du livre. [RESUMÉ] Hannah est une très bonne élève et elle a un don incroyable pour le chant. Mais quand il s’agit d’hommes et de séduction, elle perd tous ses moyens. Garrett est la star de l’équipe de hockey de l’université, mais ses résultats scolaires ne sont pas à la hauteur et il risque de perdre sa place dans l’équipe. Ils vont passer un drôle d’accord. My first proper post had to be about A Court of Mist and Fury. I had ACOTAR on my TBR list for ages but I didn’t ever feel like I was a fantasy reader so never actually started it. Until @slowbvrnclub told me I HAD to. I haven’t found anything else that matches up to it since. ACOMAF is easily my favourite of the series, and helped to reignite my love for reading. En même temps, elle contient tous les éléments d'un roman prenant (ambition, complots, trahisons, mensonges, histoires d'amour, histoires de cours), avec en plus des descriptions de ces paysages pharaoniques qui laissent rêveur. J'ai lu ce roman dans le cadre d'un défi : lire un livre qui parle d'un mythe fondateur que vous connaissez peu. Or, en faisant quelques recherches, j'avais vu que la légende d'Hiram participait au mythe maçonnique, ce qui m'avait décidée à le lire. Je vais creuser un peu tout cela !

Au făcut și nu au făcut nimic ca să rezolve acest caz. ● Este atât de plăcut să citești cărți în care nu există zece capitole dedicate unei drame despre care știi că se va rezolva oricum. Această carte nu are așa ceva și este satisfăcătoare. Todėl nejaučiau jokio skaitymo malonumo, į naujus skyrius įžengdavau pasimetusi, "apie kurį dabar čia iš jų kalbama?". Ir atrodė, kad nespėjus net susigaudyti skyrius pasibaigdavo. Man norėjosi daugiau laiko bei galbūt platesnės įžangos. Swanson stengėsi aprėpti veikėjų asmeninius gyvenimus ir kasdienybę, bet tai padarė sakyčiau atmestinai. Vos vienas kitas regis nereikšmingas faktas ir viskas baigta, galime pereiti prie sekančios aukos. Tara est une héroïne badass avec un caractère de feu comme ses cheveux 🤭. Je l'ai tellement aimé avec son côté guerrière mais qui reste fragile.. Keyne lui c'est un gros Winnie 🤣😂 un caractère de our maléché, mais qui reste très protecteur avec ceux qu'il aime. I felt quite sorry for her but the twist I did not see coming was Dawn & Caleb their love for each other and how they framed Natalie for what she had done in the past to Mia. Both Dawn & Caleb got their revenge. Then that body that could not be identified but eventually being told it was Tara who also targeted Mia with Natalie. Ich habe vor einigen Tagen gemeinsam mit @zeilenleben endlich auch ,Fourth Wing‘ begonnen und ich muss gestehen, dass ich wirklich Bedenken hatte, ob das Buch was für mich ist, denn Drachen sind eigentlich nicht unbedingt mein Thema, aber wow! Ich kann das Buch ehrlich gesagt gesagt kaum aus der Hand legen und hab vielleicht trotz Buddy-Read einfach immer weitergelesen, weil mich die Geschichte so sehr in ihren Bann gezogen hat! Ich mutiere mit jeder Seite mehr zum Fourth-Wing-Fangirl und liebe alles daran! Ich kann es also wirklich kaum erwarten weiterzulesen und bin so positiv überrascht und schon zu diesem Zeitpunkt habe ich das ganz starke Gefühl, dass das hier ein Highlight werden könnte! (Sorry that is just inspiring and props to E. D. Bridges for this book) I am in awe of this book and the character development and storyline. This book is a great YA read with ghosts, detective work, friendship & mystery. This book touches on many issues like loss, friendship, growing up and mental health in such a beautiful way. E. D. Bridges has created worlds with depth in this novel that draw you in with characters with such depth, creating characters with flaws and imperfections in a way that allows readers to further relate to them and feel for them as they progress through. Do you ever meet characters where you just want to shake them for being absolute drama creators and making terrible decisions — well you will in this book. You also will meet characters that tug on your heartstrings and have you teary eyed I really enjoyed the Utopia dialogue from characters where you see their ideology but also see how the actioning has actually created a Dystopia because shaky misplaced intentions have flow on effects. That ending ?!?! What!! I need the next book because I need to know what happens to Aiden and whether his friends are okay and I want to learn more about the worlds and the inventions and the ghosts ! (This also made me want to read/watch a series of unfortunate events because Quigley (I have only ever heard/read that name in a series of unfortunate events)!!) Voilà un premier roman qui m'a fait grand effet ! Avec son écriture et sa composition, très travaillées et efficaces, ce texte parle de maternité d'une façon particulièrement percutante et évoque très bien le sentiment d'étrangeté qui accompagne parfois le bouleversement que provoque la naissance d'un enfant. Dans un récit qui alterne L'après (un événement que l'on ignore ) et L'avant, on suit L. , qui a mis au monde un enfant et qui oscille entre une adoration animale pour son bébé et un sentiment d'aliénation croissant , entre une façon extrêmement concrète d'être au monde et un éloignement de celui-ci. L'écriture est fluide et classique lorsqu'il s'agit de raconter L'avant ; est éclatée pour parler de L'après mais est toujours d'une poésie subtile et presque hypnotique, truffée d'images particulièrement parlantes, comme celle du tilleul dont les branches enserrent parfois L. , symbole de son angoisse, ou la disparition des lettres de son prénom. Un texte magnifique et d'une justesse absolue. En avez-vous entendu parler ?

Leur histoire d'amour m'a complètement retourné et profondément émue Ici c'est un one shot avec deux livres à l'intérieur et c'est pourquoi ce livre est un gros bloc 😅 Le livre 1 et le livre 2 sont complètement différents, on est pas du tout dans la même ambiance mais c'est là où le travail de l'autrice a été magnifique, c'est que les deux parties étaient parfaitement bien gérés. Je suis clairement pas sortie indemne de cette lecture tellement l'histoire était belle et je crois que je m'en souviendrais encore dans quelques années ❤️ Je suis passée par toute les émotions, j'ai voulu le balancer plusieurs fois et en même temps j'ai voulu le lire sans m'arrêter Les plot twist étaient exceptionnels! The story is told from the perspective of Nana, the cat, whose observations are - as is typical for cats 😉 - quite sarcastic but spot on and made me laugh out loud quite a few times! We also get the perspectives of Satoru's friends and his aunt, who tell us readers about their relationships with Satoru and what was so special about them. So we get to know Satoru through the eyes of his cat, his friends and his aunt, and it becomes clear quite soon that Satoru is a very sensitive and kind young man, whose cat means the world to him. Et elle est irrésistiblement attirée par le vide. ______ஓ๑🩷๑ஓ______ Mon avis J'ai longtemps hésité avant de me procurer ce livre et j'ai finalement bien fait parce que j'ai adoré. Dès le début, je me suis attaché à l'héroïne et je ne m'y attendais pas. J'ai été touché par son deuil et sa façon de le vivre et j'ai beaucoup aimé son caractère rude. J'ai adoré suivre son amitité naissante avec Annabelle qui ne la lâche pas malgré que Léna ne sois pas récéptive et les secrerts qu'elle cache. J'ai d'ailleurs aimé tout l'entourage de Léna, son collègue et ami, Sam, ses parents et sa soeur qui sont présent pour elle et tente de la soutenir. Le rapprochement entre Léna et Tom à travers leur passion était naturel. Léna culpabilise énormement vis à vis de Ben et il y a également d'autres complications qui s'ajoutent. 4/5 ⭐️ der Anfang war ein wenig schleppend und ich hab nur langsam in die Story gefunden. Dazu muss ich gestehen, liegt der erste Band auch schon ein paar Tage zurück und viele andere Bücher dazwischen. Dennoch eine klare Empfehlung, denn das Buch hat eine richtige 180 Grad Wendung gehabt und wurde noch nervenraubend.
