That first 13.1 feeling! 🤩🤩Endurance runs teach you a lot about yourself. Today I set out with the intention of hitting this distance, make sure my clothes, fueling, hydration, and muscles will be ready for race day at the end of the month! Overall it felt pretty darn good, proving to myself I can do hard things!🙌🏻<br /><br />⛽️ Here is how I fueled: <br />Prior to my run: peanut butter on English muffin with blueberries, then a pop tart.<br />@inic8_ Hydration Replenishment 30 min prior to run<br />⛽️DURING:<br />500cc water consumed over the course of the run <br />Maurten Gell 100 at mile 5 @maurten_official <br />Power Bar Power Gels Miles 8-13 as needed @powerbarsport <br />(I got the power gels in my @funrunbox !) I ran my first 13.1 in 2 hours 2 min 17 seconds and all I could think about was all the Boston Marathon rock stars finishing double the distance in just about the same time 🥵<br /> Every runner’s journey is just that - their own journey!! Love celebrating personal wins along with all of your wins and accomplishments!!
