following a couple of days during which i reflected on the experience, i finally came up with a few words. 300 miles of cycling in 3 days is a massive mental and physical challenge... and while the miles are there, this ride is about so much more.
i am thrilled to have had the opportunity to participate in @chefscycle and to spend time out on the bike with so many different, amazing and uplifting people who are all committed to this cause. i left the flamingo hotel & spa inspired, proud, humbled, and ready to take on the next challenge.
i’m thankful for the support from my fellow cyclists, for new friends made, and for conversations around life, community, food and commitment. i am unable to tag everyone i met and got to know, but every single rider i met had a lasting impact on my participation in this endeavor.
the feeling giving to something bigger than oneself and of being part of this community is one i will not soon forget and is more rewarding than i ever thought possible. Chef’s Cycle has truly been a transformative experience for me.
