After losing his wife, being a single dad has been tough. Will has had a string of incompetent nanny’s who don’t have his daughter’s best interest at heart. They all want something from the broody grump goalie. Ava’s teacher, Chloe, steps up to help and turns into the help he didn’t think he could ever find.
Chloe was raised to be self sufficient. She didn’t need a man to make her happy, but she always imagined a life with a partner after sneaking some romance novels as a teenager. When Will finds himself in a bind, Chloe volunteers to help him when she can. What she discovers beyond being Ava’s nanny was more than she could have ever read about.
I loved everything about this book. It was emotional, funny, and just perfect. I absolutely could NOT put this book down!
Ava and Chloe’s relationship was fantastic. So dang sweet. To see the growth of their love for each other was super heartwarming. Definitely one of my favorite parts of the book!
Will was such a great parent! His love for his daughter was so profound. And his protective nature could jump right off the page. So so good and prime book boyfriend material!
I highly recommend Learn Your Lesson and the whole Kings of the Ice series!! If you enjoy a good, spicy sports romance, this book is for you!
