Groups and the internet may tell you some of the things above and quite frankly we are sick of seeing it.
"Can I feed a part time raw diet?"… Yes you can! Raw is expensive! Don't let anyone tell you differently. If you can even do a couple of days a week of DIY, or a good quality raw complete, that's fantastic and so beneficial.
"There's no such thing as a good kibble".... Well, actually there is. If you are comparing it to a fresh diet then maybe not quite, but there are definitely better quality dried foods you can feed your dog. In fact, an incorrectly balanced raw diet could be far more detrimental to our dogs than feeding a better quality kibble.
"If you cut back with yourself you could feed your dog a better diet" ... Nobody should be told this or be made to feel they have to do this. Any fresh you can add into your dog's existing diet is amazing.
We would much rather teach people how to make a healthier version of the food their dog is currently being fed, then see anyone struggle.
A fresh diet is always best, but not everyone can do it full time, or at all!
