Harvesting the dung of giants for future generations, the flightless dung beetles of Addo Elephant Park scurry along navigating the vast landscape
in search of elephant dung while simultaneously avoiding being trampled. Once the dung is rolled into a ball and buried, the beetles climb into it to reproduce, lay their eggs, and wait for the young dung beetle larvae born inside the dung brood ball.
