Abdul Samad Al Qurashi Royal Amber Today I went with Royal Amber by @abdulsamad_alqurashi . Online it states that there is only one ingredient used for this oil, ambergris. I disagree. When you first apply Royal Amber, it’s very rich and balsamic. I’ve seen some people say its animalic but I don’t really get that. The balsamic tones are both sweet and musky. The sweetness eventually turns into this lovely cinnamon sort of sweetness and it’s very comforting. From there I noticed how it was a little spicy too, but it smelt more like saffron, which would explain the colour. After a while I was getting hints of that Coca Cola amber aroma we know soo well from perfumes, but the saffron definitely stands out more now. Now, after around 10 hours of wear, what’s left is a hint of cinnamon sweetness, a backdrop of balsamic musk, and a lovely light salty freshness, along with a nice saffron floral. Overall, especially for the price, this is a great quality oil. Lovely to wear on its own but would be amazing to layer with amber heavy fragrances too. Stay safe people.
