Gold Award Girl Scout Eliana created resources to educate people on the importance of pollinators and encourage pollinator-friendly practices in her community. 🐝💚 Eliana made an online booklet for elementary-age children 📖, conducted a workshop with students where they made pollinator shelters to use at home 🏠, and partnered with her city's parks and recreation department to plant native seedlings that will serve as nectar and pollen sources for local pollinators 🌱. In total, Eliana distributed information about her booklet to 46 King County libraries, added 26 new pollinator shelters to her community, and planted more than 200 seedlings with a group of volunteers!
