Day 15 & 16 - After more than 24 hours of traveling, here are the last pictures of our trip to Asia. Yesterday morning we went to an Elephant Sanctuary 🤩 We fed and bathed 3 elephants out of 4. It was really a great experience. Afterwards we spent a bit of our last afternoon chilling by the pool and then it was time to go back home. This trip was a real treat. 라농을 마지막으로 태국 여행은 끝이 났다. 국경을 건너기 위해 검문소로 향했다. 이곳을 통과하기 위해서는 특이하게도 국경검문소 4곳을 들려야 완료 되는데 첫번째는 라농선착장 검문소에서 태국 출국 도장을 받고 그뒤로 태국쪽 섬 검문소, 미얀마쪽 섬 검문소를 통과한 후에 미얀마 코타웅에 있는 마지막 검문소에서 미얀마 입국 도장을 받으면 비로소 끝이 난다. 강하구를 중심으로 두 도시는 마주보고 있는 형국이라 가깝게 느껴질 수 있지만 강하구 특유의 넓은 지형때문에 꽤 시간이 소비된다. 우기때는 건너기가 무척 위험하고 실제로 배가 뒤집혀 인명사고도 난다고 한다. 나는 이 국경을 통과하는게 벌써 4번째 이기에 큰 위험성을 느끼지는 못하였다. 그렇게 모든 국경 검문소를 통과하고 도착한 미얀마의 코타웅. 내전을 겪고 있는 나라라고는 전혀 믿겨지지 않을만큼 평화롭고 활기찬 느낌이다. 코타웅은 마치 나의 마지막 여행 시점인 5년전부터 지금까지 시간이 멈춘 것처럼 달라진것이 없는 것 같았다. 달라진 것이 있다면 우리를 제외한 단 한명의 다른 외국인도 볼수 없다는 점과 전자형태로 바뀐 시계탑이 전부였다. 이곳에 도착하면 늘 그랬듯이 펭귄호텔로 이동해 짐을 풀고 당연하다는 듯이 론지를 사러 시장에 들른 다음 바닷가의 노포에 앉아 미얀마 맥주를 홀짝거렸다. 마치 고향에 돌아온 듯한 편안함과 안정감이 느껴지는 이유는 왜 일까? 앞으로의 미얀마 여행이 무척 기대괸다. #미얀마 #미얀마여행 #코따웅 #국경 #국경넘기 #육로국경 #태국 #라농 #보트 #안다만해 #일상 #여행기 #세계여행 #세계여행자 #프랑스친구 #crossborder #myanmar #thailand #boattrip #worldtraveler #worldtravel #ilovemyanmar #kawthaung #traveldiaries #lifestyle #travelblogger #travelphotography #travellife #ranong #goodbyethailand
