Crews from Goodyear, Buckeye, AFMA, and Phoenix arrived on scene to find a single-story home fully engulfed in flames. The resident reported that all occupants were out safely. At approximately 7 am this morning, Goodyear Fire and Hazmat crews responded to a natural gas leak at a residence near Sarival and Yuma. Hazmat crews, secured the gas, metered the area, and found zero readings inside and outside of the house. The scene was turned over to the homeowner and Southwest Gas. At approximately 8:00 am this morning fire crews from Goodyear, Avondale, and Phoenix responded to a Hazardous Situation near 145th Ave and Van Buren. Goodyear Hazmat team made entry and metered for the initial reports of ammonia. Crews had zero reading for ammonia and other substances. Fire crews ventilated the building and occupants were able to return. BC181 and Special Operations Hazmat 181, and Hazmat 185 responded to a call for a leaking fuel tank on the I-10 and Litchfield Road.
