Today, I had the pleasure of going into a school and sharing how I am a community helper. It was hard. It was exciting. It was enlightening. Kids have a unique view of the world and experience with those living on it. Today, as a group, we discovered that massage helps people feel better in their bodies. Either from releasing physical discomfort or releasing other forms of discomfort that becomes trapped in our body. These tiny people came to that and deeply understood how important it is to feel good in your body. "If I feel good, the world feels good, and everything is better!" Yup, little one, you just discovered how impactful you are ❤️

Heroes Building For Habitat For Humanity April 22, 2024 Yesterday, members of Virginia Beach Fire Department participated in this year’s Heroes Building Week, (HBW), coordinated by Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads (Habitat SHR). According to Habitat SHR, the primary objective of this initiative is twofold: to pay homage to our valiant First Responders and Essential workers while simultaneously constructing an affordable Habitat home for a deserving local, low-income family. The construction on this house began on April 10th.
