१ | Dahleez • [ Craftsmenship ] An attempt was made to add a flair of consciousness and inventiveness in the space by a humble effort to intervene and reimagine traditional Indian crafts and its techniques in a contemporary format, as an endeavour to start contributing towards the survival battle faced by artisans in India today. While this action is a small step, the goal is to start moving in that direction with accelerated momentum in the future works of this practice. In this project, this intention found itself taking form in the custom designed lights of the living space, which were created using the hand work skills of traditional woodworkers - magicians of creating carved details.
