This past Saturday, PTI continued its longstanding tradition by participating in the @jdrfonewalk for the 8th consecutive year, showing unwavering support for Team Kalel. The aim of this annual event is to contribute to the fight against Type 1 diabetes, with JDRF being the forefront global organization dedicated to funding research in this field. Their ultimate goal is to progressively diminish the impact of Type 1 diabetes on people's lives until achieving "Type NONE." PTI wants to express our sincere gratitude to all PTI employees, along with their families, friends, and even their furry companions, for turning out in such large numbers and for embodying the true spirit of PTI. Reflecting on a Day of Play and Purpose On October 24th, our Mexico team joined forces with @eparacompartir , a non-profit that uses play to inspire young minds. Today @phoenixtowerinternational & PTI Wings were blessed to be part of a special day in Tierra Bomba, Cartagena Colombia @amigosdelmar! Amigos Del Mar is a volunteer based foundation that seeks to execute sustainable social development projects, Through art, education and water sports. Pedro gave us a tour of his compound, the school, the headquarters, and the @olaspaz workshop! Olas Paz recycles plastic bottle caps to make surfboard fins and other sustainable products! We got to hang with the amazing mothers and children of this great community! It was a special moment to be able to gift the mothers with home goods! The youth of the community were rewarded for good class attendance by taking them surfing! The groms were shredding! 🤙🏾 We are grateful to be a part of such a special community! Two weeks ago, the PTI team in Ireland planted trees with @greenbeltirl and visited our wonderful partner Abalta Special School. Through our WINGS foundation, we partner with Abalta to support children with autism and complex needs get the care they need to reach their full potential. In addition, our PTI team partnered with Green belt and got to work planting over 200 oak trees in the midlands, in Ireland to help the environment. We continue to be committed to improving our environment as a carbon neutral company and are actively working to do more to minimize our carbon footprint. Our WINGS program is vital to our operations in Ireland as it is in all markets we do business in as we look to continue to help those less fortunate than us and be a responsible corporate leader in philanthropy and public service in all communities we operate in.
