Happy Sunday!! What a weekend it’s been! So many projects, so little time! We finished up planting flowers today and my sweet husband put out 20 bags of mulch! On the top shelf, which you cannot see, I store many of my favorite tea cups. But the other two shelves have some of my favorite dishes I have collected. Inside the tiny teacup on the bottom shelf is a little tin with a small soap inside. On the tin is a portrait called, “Girl in a Roman Costume.” It was painted my paint great grandfather, Abbey Altson. (Or sometimes spelled, Aby). Happy Monday! Today was a fun day for me. If you caught my stories, you heard that I got to go read to Evan’s class today. It was a sweet little memory that I will always cherish. I found a solution to my ant issue so I’m heading to Home Depot in just a bit to grab some Diatomaceous Earth to get rid of these unwelcome ants. Today was supposed to be a big planting day, but instead, I primarily spent time getting rid of ants! 😩 4 of my big planters were filled with ants. I was so bummed!! Patrick is working on getting rid of the ants and I continued planting flowers in other pots. Today is also my bonus daughter’s 15th birthday!
