Last week we had Jeff @A+plumbing in Blue Mounds come out and install a NEW Commercial RINNAI on demand water heater and NEW knee operated valves as the original ones were tampered with. Today we finally were able to have the electrician out here today to install the Blue calming kill light along with installing an outlet for the cry-o-vac unit. Picked up and installed another custom cabinet from Sun Valley Fabrication in Hollandale. Thanks Dave all these custom cabinets you have built look amazing. We are ready to process. We are waiting on a NEW piece of equipment to make our process even more efficient but what we have will work for the time being. We will be harvesting Ducks next week under USDA inspection. We canโt wait for this new journey. Hello our amazing supporters! ๐ซถ๐ปWe have had so many of you interested in our amazing operation, so here is a little bit more about us! As most of you know back in June we got our USDA inspected harvest facility approved and running! ๐ฅณThat was a huge milestone for our family business. Our family also has been working on expanding our feeding and cow calf operations to continue to provide top quality meats that are raised right for our amazing customers. Shane and Amber Watkins have been working very hard on perfecting the right feed program to provide the best natural quality meat.๐ฅฉ The Watkins feed program consists of our cattle turned out on pasture grazing on grass when itโs in season, and are also getting fed a feed ration that consists of mashed barley and white wheat that is made for us by one of our local farming families. During the seasons where grass is dormant, we provide the cattle with grass hay for them to graze on. Along with our great feed we also NEVER EVER give or use any kind of antibiotics, growth hormones, and also never feed corn to our livestock. We are very passionate about our business and are very appreciative of everyoneโs support. We are excited to continue providing all of you with not only great quality meats, but also meat that you know where itโs coming from, so you are aware of what you and your families are eating!
