This from a friend who recently read my book and emailed me after she finished it: "If this had come from someone I didn't know, I might have thought no one can be that unceasingly faith filled (and yes, I know through any trial, we all have our moments, including you), but I know you and this book is the Jerusha in written form that I have come to know . . ." It never occurred to me that this story would come across as unbelievable, but I can see how it could. At the time, I was too busy living it and writing about it to think that way at all. But . . . isn't that how miracles work? They are unbelievable, but they're still true. I really didn't think about how the posts would seem; the story was unfolding, and I was sharing it. Having recently loss someone I absolutely LOVE dearly...caused me to experience emotions I never expected to feel. I asked God WHY?????! Afterwards, I felt guilty for questioning Him (especially as a Christian) but staying in His word and listening closely to His voice...allowed me to know, that He very much understood my emotional state...so I shouldn't beat up myself for asking that question. It's quite okay to feel those emotions but I believe it's important that we don't take up residence there. Please let's train our mind and emotions...the same way we train our bodies.
