El diseño de origen israelí y el poderoso grupo se basaba en dar soluciones prácticas y funcionales a mujeres de diferentes cuerpos y tallas con materiales respetuosos con el medio ambiente. La gran experiencia de Elbaz dió una gran versatilidad al concepto desde la ropa confortable de casa y deportiva hasta elegantes vestidos de noche. Prendas muy adaptables e intercambiables. La muerte repentina del fundador con un proyecto recién nacido obligó a un replanteamiento dinámico y así nació el concepto Amigo lanzado a principios de este año para apoyar a diseñadores más jóvenes e independientes. Después de Thebe Magugu y Ester Manas el siguiente turno en la tercera colección de colaboración le tocó al siempre genial diseñador alemán Lutz Huelle que trabaja desde París desde el 2000. Todo un experto en la reinvención y reconstrucción de prendas básicas como el denim y las bombers al lujo y al glamour una hibridación entre lo cotidiano y lo asociado a la Alta Costura perfectamente ejecutada técnicamente y ensamblada con una maestría de los patrones en la construcción y deconstrucciónde las prendas y en el tratamiento escultórico y fluido de las telas. De su formación en la austeridad con Martin Margiela hereda Huelle su capacidad de de dar un empuje visual y atractivo a los básicos con introducción de piezas con lentejuelas y la hábil y variada disposición de los volantes en en la cintura de jeans o en las mangas de camisetas o en los bajos de un sobrio vestido de fiesta negro. Era su estilo en su marca homónima trasladado al mundo AZ Factory y que evocaba, esa aparente Alta Costura improvisada e inacabada de Elbaz en las últimas colecciones de su magistral período en Lanvin. Trágicamente murió este año que finaliza víctima del Covid. El extraordinario desfile fue una celebración del amor "Love Brings Love" se llamó y donde 45 de los mejores diseñadores se inspiraron en la trayectoria y la obra de Alber para crear al modo Theatre de la Mode para mostrarle su respeto y admiración a través de sendas magníficas piezas de Alta Costura que se han convertido viralmente en el centro de tan emotivo evento. Yo he preferido mostrar algunas de las piezas que ha realizado el equipo de diseño de Alber en AZ Factory porque me parecen magníficas y resumen el concepto que quería dotar a su firma. La fusión entre la practicidad y comodidad de la ropa deportiva y el refinamiento del vestido de fiesta de Alta Costura francesa sde una que no se había hecho y a través de la última tecnología de fibras y tejidos de vanguardia donde la sostenibilidad medioambiental y la inclusividad y positividad corporal eran objetivo prioritario. El eje la modularidad y versatilidad de las prendas , para ir desde el gimnasio o clase de Yoga al Palais Royal para un concierto de la ópera con pocos cambios. Diseños de vanguardia en cada pieza en una sastrería impecable en innovadora con aplicaciones clásicas del repertorio de Alber. Monos de entrenamiento con aplicaciones de cristales acompañados con chaquetas, vestidos con imaginativos volantes o frunces fáciles de, quitar y poner por cremalleras pensadas para facilitar la tarea. Każdy z uczestników – mieszanka uznanych luksusowych domów mody i mniejszych marek, takich jak Thebe Magugu i Wales Bonner – stworzy jeden indywidualny look "inspirowany dziedzictwem Albera lub bedacy zupelnie nowhm spojrzeniem na jego osobę" czytamy w oświadczeniu wytwórni Elbaz AZ Factory. Lanvin, gdzie Elbaz pełnił funkcję dyrektora kreatywnego od 2001 roku aż do jego nagłego odejścia w 2015 roku, jest również jednym z uczestników. Один из величайших дизайнеров современности - почти 15 лет руководил французским домом Lanvin. В конце 90-х работал для Yves Saint Laurent, пока тот трудился на кутюрными коллекциями. (по-этому одёжа на фото выбрана не случайно.) Спасибо ему за балетки на резинке. У меня были такие, не Lanvin, но удобные очень. 😎 И за многое другое спасибо, хотя духи Lanvin я подруге подарила 😂 не мой аромат. The news of the sudden death of fashion designer Alber Elbaz, 59 of Covid has broken my heart. His remarkable designs were so transformative, easy and elegant they almost felt as if they had a magical quality to them, as if the clothes were calling you over to the rack whispering “try me, you won’t regret it“ I’ve spend the last few decades as a fashion designer both in NYC and in Paris and I will say that once you are a designer your always a designer, even if you take a break from the industry as Alber famously did after 14 years as creative director for Lanvin. Deep inside every great designer there is a common thread and that is that we want to make people feel good about themselves, we want to make them feel beautiful.. I guess even then it was all about ~self care and self love, I just didn’t know it then. The fashion industry often gets a bad rap. It is undoubtedly challenging and in need of reform, but I have also met the most wonderful people who are my greatest friends kind, generous and funny as well as the most hard working group you’ll ever meet .. I never met Alber but I saw him often in Paris, the last time I saw him was at lunch at “bread and roses” in Paris.. we were both having the same soup. I thank you Alber for your magical work, the world has lost a legend. I will always love you.
