I got JLY 39 as part of a lot a while back, and didn’t really known what to do with her, so she’s been listed for sale ever since. Now I’m reconsidering. Dainty blue rick rack -a popular embellishment since Victorian times - outlines the curves and ruffles of this dress and complements the touches of cornflower blue in the fabric. The gown, from a pattern by Thimbles & Acorns at Pixiefaire, consists of three pieces: - a fitted bodice with attached curved “apron” front and sides. The bodice has long slim sleeves, and a square neckline framed by a self fabric ruffle. It fastens in the back with hidden snaps - a multi-section bustled skirt, with a ruffled front panel and a back consisting of a cascade of five wide, ruffled rows.
