I am going to start tomorrow, posting a one-word prompt each morning (UK time) here on my feed and in stories. Day 13 #tinywinterpoem Bunch The bunch lay in a bucket, gasping for air, with only a trickle of water sliding down a gentle waterslide. This bunch was on the verge of blooming but seemed to be suffocating like an ocean trapped in plastic. A yellow reduced sticker was peeling off her side. I had walked past her once, but the long lingering look compelled me to buy her. Upon returning home, the yellow sticker fell off like a crayon melting in the sunshine. I placed the bunch in a glass vase, hydrating her as if giving her a facial, and she looked lush. Evoking emotions within me, as I realised the beauty that can be found beyond the “best before” date. Day 11 #tinywinterpoem thoughts My thoughts have betrayed me, like a poisoned apple given by a Disney queen. They mix sweetness with poison, causing me to believe I am unworthy. I am carrying a sack of potatoes in my mind at all times. I attempt to ignore the “don’t touch” button but my hand smashes on the grabber, gifts tumble like gremlins taken over an amusement park.
