Reminding us that no matter how much we've been through, or how perfectly imperfect or wonky we may be, we can still fly and flourish, we can still make life glimmer for ourselves and others. Her feet drip with vintage 60year old sacred charms as little talisman/amulets of protection. So.. I get to the house after picking up a few things at Kroger & realize I don’t have my wallet‼️ Omg 😮 my heart is in my stomach, I instantly start praying 🙏🏽 pleading with God, and then realized the moment I got distracted. I was so pissed at myself that I let something so insignificant take my focus for even a second that I would forget thing my lively hood is in🤬. I rushed back to the store (about a 10 min drive) lord please, please let it be there🤞🏽. Pull up to where I think I parked and... my wallet was still sitting in the grocery cart 🛒 untouched 😳.Thank God🙌🏽!! • • I’m sharing this story because it made me think of all the times we let insignificant people, things, comments, opinions, road bumps & fear throw us off our game. How many times we look back and recognize we dropped the ball along the way. My wallet sat there for 20+ minutes with God knows how many people walking by not noticing. When we drop the ball others may not notice the value of what you dropped or even care enough to encourage you to pick it back up and finish the game.
