So in case you didn’t know, I’m half Filipino and half Indian so I’m going to share some of my favorite things about both of my halves. My favorite things about both of them is the shopping + the food! The Philippines: I’ve actually only been there once and it was right before COVID but it was the best experience ever. My favorite thing about the place we were staying was the breakfast! They had a huge selection and a lot of different stations with different types of food so you could have a different breakfast every single day! We were also staying in a hotel right next to a mall which I went to every day!! My brother and my mom went back there just a couple weeks ago but I cant wait to go back! India: I’ve been there like 4 times and each time I’ve been, Ive never failed to go shopping!! Some of my best memories is my aunt taking me shopping and I would try on hundreds of dresses. Fun fact: the first dress I ever wore in a pageant, I got from India and I loved it because it was still a formal gown but it had a touch of my cultural background which just made it the perfect dress. The next thing is that people in India love to eat and so do I. Anytime you go to a family members house there’s always food and the hosts always keep putting more food on your plate and you can’t refuse! This is their way of showing they care ❤️ I love both of my sides + wouldn’t want to have it any other way!!
