There’s a whole lot that happened behind the scenes when 3D modelling, which at times required me to shift back into sketching to define details, or just to help me visualize certain surface transitions. Despite having designed many bikes, they are still incredibly difficult to draw freehand, which is why I always use an underlay to help with perspective. I’ll either use an existing frame, or rough out some of the overall surfaces to ensure that the geometry is being represented correctly. 2D sketches are definitely the quickest way of communicating ideas, but with 3D VR software becoming more robust, I sometimes wonder how long until we’re all just sketching in VR for projects like this.

This was my first design project for the MTB world, and thanks to the high knowledge of the team which i collaborate it is one of the best full suspension bike in the market; not only for the sharp design but also for technical improvement. Crossfire adopts the shortest chainstays available on the market, just 428mm, and the Internal Cable Routing system see cables pass from BB directly into chainstay, leaving them exposed for only 1cm.

RAM SINERGY DH Bike Project - Paradox Design Base Synergy is a latest generation bicycle made together with studio Paradox Design Base and its Art Director Lachezar Ivanov, and RAM Bikes. The bike is projected specifically for big mountains. The design of the frame complies with all requirements for professional riders. It is made of aluminium alloy 6061 that weighs 3.53kg, 200mm stroke and more aggressive geometry with 63-degree head tubes that allow maximum speed on the downhills and optimal bicycle weight. Synergy’s graphic design is entirely geometrical with which they continue the vision of the predecessor and therefore, uplifts the new concept/vision on the bicycle on new heights. RAM SINERGY DH Bike Project - Paradox Design Base Synergy is a latest generation bicycle made together with studio Paradox Design Base and its Art Director Lachezar Ivanov, and RAM Bikes. The bike is projected specifically for big mountains. The design of the frame complies with all requirements for professional riders. It is made of aluminium alloy 6061 that weighs 3.53kg, 200mm stroke and more aggressive geometry with 63-degree head tubes that allow maximum speed on the downhills and optimal bicycle weight. Synergy’s graphic design is entirely geometrical with which they continue the vision of the predecessor and therefore, uplifts the new concept/vision on the bicycle on new heights.
