“River of sorrows” Gouache on handmade cotton rag paper. This painting tries to capture the deep emotions conjured by visiting Kunte Kinteh Island in Gambia earlier this year. The sorrow and shame associated with visiting a place of such great cruelty and brutality perpetrated by British & Europeans is difficult but necessary to confront. The beautiful vista belies the murderous past and the uncertain future. #painting #gouachepainting #gouache #art #artist #artofinstagram #artistsofinstagram #creative #contemporaryart #contemporaryartist #endslaverynow #gambia #blackafrica #africa #eatingwithmyeyes

🌟Did you know? Many of the scientific advancements that we associate with Europe/white people actually have their roots in Africa (in this case, it’s not only the roots but the whole tree!). Hippocrates is considered to be the ‘father of medicine’. But when we look at the records, we see the Black man Imhotep as the original genius, born over 2,000 years earlier. In the 3rd dynasty of Egypt’s Old Kingdom (around 4,500 years ago), Imhotep was born. Over the course of his life, Imhotep contributed greatly to Egyptian society. His professions included: -Architect -Astronomer -Author -Biologist -Inventor -Mathematician -Medical Specialist -Philosopher -Physician -Poet -Scribe -Statesman -Stone Mason -Surgeon -Therapist -and more… Imhotep was also responsible for the construction of the Step Pyramid, and served as high advisor to the Pharoah, Djoser. The Edwin Smith Papyrus (named after the white man who purchased it) features some of Imhotep’s writings about medicine. It’s considered one of the oldest written manuals of medicine known to exist. It contains descriptions of 48 maladies and their treatments! An astonishing fact about Imhotep was that he was elevated to the status of a god! He was so respected and revered for his immense intelligence and wisdom. The Greeks called him Asclepius. So needless to say, Black Genius is real. Without the contributions of Imhotep, there wouldn’t be any ‘modern medicine’ today. We proudly give praise to our ancestor for his deeds. 🌟For more on Imhotep, check out this article by Face2FaceAfrica: https://tinyurl.com/yc5auxcw 🌟To hear Black historians’ take on Imhotep, check out this video: https://tinyurl.com/2x3nhu45 ❤️🖤💚Brought to you by @BlackHistorySnapshots and GarveyNation.com! #blackhistorymatters #blackfirst #blackexcellence #blackgenius #blackegypt #imhotep #kemet #blackafrica #africa #african #melanin #melaninmagic #melaninpoppin

#africa #africanegra #blackafrica #costademarfil #ivorycoast #roadtrip #viajar #viajes #travel #nature #aventura #adventure #explore #wow

Black Africa war free. All conflicts, migrations and wars, any place any time in Black Africa are under control on a few years close... the last 8000years. Take 1 hour to read a few lines. Reread every line twice. British, American, Belgium,... colonisation are mathematical constructs astrophysical-solar driven. Huti-tutsi conflict, North-South Sudan conflict, Rwandan Revolution, independence all converted to constructs of the universe after a routine exercise. I'm deeply impressed with the unexpected outcome where the numbers match reality. The advanced mathematical data structure of Black Africa is of Key relevance for the entire planet! Black Africa ... I give you back your unknown past. Black Africa has a war free future now. I'm happy to assist. Zero tolerance for racists and drunken sailors! 🌟Did you know? The Red, Black & Green Flag (also called the Pan-African Flag) has a deep and vast history! Marcus Garvey noticed that every other ethnic group has a flag to represent their people, be they English, Chinese, German, etc. There was even a white song in 1896 called “Every Race Has A Flag But The Coon.” This song became very popular amongst whites. Garvey felt that the African, no matter where he or she is from, should have a flag that represents Black people. In 1920, Marcus Garvey’s UNIA held a large international convention in New York. It was quite the spectacle, because delegates from 25 African countries were in attendance! On that day, the 13th of August, the African delegates voted that Red, Black & Green should be the official colors of Black people everywhere. 🔴Red represents the blood of Black people that has been spilled. ⚫️Black represents Black people, with our strong melanin roots. 🟢Green represents the rich abundance of Africa’s natural resources. These colors formed the flag that we still use today. Maulana Karenga adopted this flag and its colors in the formation of Kwanzaa. Many African countries use a variation of the Red, Black and Green Flag in their own national flags. Check out a few below! Libya 🇱🇾, Kenya 🇰🇪, Ghana 🇬🇭, Togo 🇹🇬, Guinea 🇬🇳, Senegal 🇸🇳, Sudan 🇸🇩, South Sudan 🇸🇸, Mali 🇲🇱, Mauritania 🇲🇷, Morocco 🇲🇦, Benin 🇧🇯, South Africa 🇿🇦, Tanzania 🇹🇿, Angola 🇦🇴, Zambia 🇿🇲, Burundi 🇧🇮. So the Red, Black and Green Flag is not merely a group of colors. It’s a symbol of the binding force that unites Black people everywhere! ❤️🖤💚Buy Black first at www.BuyBlackMovement.com #blackpeople #blackculture #blackafrica #blackexcellence #blackisbeautiful #blackfirst #africa #african #melanin #melaninpoppin

🌟Did you know? The Greek and Roman civilizations have Black origins! The origins of Greece and Rome go back to a powerful Black civilization, called the Etruscans. The Etruscan civilization itself spanned across the areas of Italy/Rome and Greece, called Etruria at the time. The Black people there were advanced in agriculture, science, artistry and trade. Etruscan statues and relics clearly show Black people with curly hair and a wide variety of noses and lips. This variety of Black features can be seen today in Eastern Africa. The Etruscan religion involved the worship of RA, the same Sun-God worshiped by the Black Egyptians! One question that scientists had to figure out was the age of the Etruscans. When did they arrive in Europe? Did they migrate from Egypt or maybe Ethiopia? DNA evidence has shown that the Etruscans were INDIGENOUS to this part of Europe. Their DNA was so old that it predated later civilizations like Greece and Rome. In fact, these civilizations were heavily influenced by the Etruscans. Some historians have claimed that many ‘Roman’ and ‘Greek’ artifacts were actually made by Black Etruscans, and that they were later purposefully mis-identified and credited to the whites, in order to boost the cultural significance of Greece and Rome. But we know that, the farther back in history you look, the Blacker it gets! 🌟For more on the Etruscan civilization, check out this article by HistoryDaily: http://tinyurl.com/5cuwp9aw, and also, 🌟this article by Face2FaceAfrica: http://tinyurl.com/3yy7jhks ❤️🖤💚Buy Black first at www.BuyBlackMovement.com #blackfirst #blackexcellence #blackorigins #blackafrica #blackandproud #blackisbeautiful #africa #african #panafrican #melanin #blackqueen #blackking

Did you know? We were 🔥LIT in ancient times! In the Hathor temple of Dendera, located in Kemet (Egypt), there are multiple hieroglyphs of large lightbulbs powered by long wires. This timeline for these hieroglyphs are estimated to be anywhere from 2,000 to over 4,200 years old! In modern times, a researcher named Erich Von Daniken decided to recreate the Kemetic lightbulb. He and his team meticulously followed the directions given by the hieroglyphs, and built a real-life model. When he turned on the power, the bulb lit up with light! He captured it ON VIDEO, but it has largely been scrubbed from the internet. The full clip of the experiment can be seen in the documentary ‘Chariot of the Gods - Mysteries Continue.’ 🌟Find it here (the clip starts at 29:56): http://tinyurl.com/nfw7bvzy This means that the ancient Black Egyptians had advanced technology that modern science only just discovered a few hundred years ago. Many modern scientists still don’t want to admit this fact. The Kemetic lightbulb was powered by DC (direct current). The invention of lightbulbs and DC are oftentimes credited to Thomas Edison. But perhaps we must rethink this fact. During Edison’s time, the 1800s, many white inventors and scientists had access to Egyptian artifacts and scrolls. The 1800s marked a time of mass looting of Kemetic temples. The relics found inside were sold and passed around among the elites. So the next time you turn on a light, realize that you are using technology that your ancestors had already dreamed up thousands of years ago. 🌟For more about the Egyptian light bulb, check out this article by BooksFact:  http://tinyurl.com/2ke46e9t ❤️🖤💚Buy Black First at www.BuyBlackMovement.com #kemet #blackpeople #blackafrica #blackafrican #blackandproud #blackfirst #blackexcellence #blackinventors #africantechnology #melanin #africa #african
