When working with a disability or illness, an individual may have difficulty meeting the physical or cognitive requirements of their position. This causes stress for both the employer and the employee. Employers and employees can request an FCE to determine what kind of assistance an employee may need in the workplace, in order to allow them to work despite disability or illness.
