Continuando con la trama, recuerdo que estoy abriendo la puerta de casa para irme a trabajar y justo en frente estaciona el camión hermoso de UPS, con dos cajas enormes. Eran los soportes de motor y el selector Race-Spec Billet. Automáticamente salte de la emoción. Firmé todo, pagué y me metí de nuevo a abrir las cajas de la emoción. Todo estaba hermoso y a estrenar... Así que con el poco tiempo que me quedaba, me fui corriendo a tomar el colectivo para irme al trabajo y cuando volví me puse a estudiar bien cual iba a ser la cuestión a atacar primero. Como muchos de mis amigos saben, toda esta locura nació y siempre fue en el garage de mi casa. Un garage chico, angosto, donde no hay mucho espacio para estar cómodo, pero nada de eso iba a frenar mi sueño de volver a armar el auto en casa. Con mis propias manos, con ayuda de mis amigos y con la mente lista para enfrentar lo que sea. Así que lógicamente lo primero que atacamos fue el motor para poderlo sacar del camino (lo tenia en la cocina xd) y ahí poder movernos mejor, ubicándolo en su lugar y que ya se quede donde siempre debió estar. Pero primero, me puse a sacar y a revolear la cremallera hidráulica y todo el sistema para reemplazarlo por cremallera mecanica de civic EF, era antes de poner el motor, para estar cómodo, tranquilo y hacerlo bien. Eso fue fácil. Apenas terminé, llamé a Sebatussi ♥ Y vino para casa sin dudarlo y entre los dos, con dos gatos levantamos el auto y metimos el motor por abajo. No puedo explicarles la alegría que sentía cuando vi por primera vez a mi propio auto, almacenando en su interior un hermoso 2.4 con el cual había soñado desde el día que lo compré. Una vez mas, mi auto pasaba de no tener motor a tenerlo, pero esta vez el que siempre quise. Gracias Sebi por esa segunda, por ayudarme después de haber caído el sol, a oscuras, a reniegue porque estábamos en pendiente a poner el motor. Una persona que siempre estuvo a la par del proyecto y le debo un monton. Very nice set of Turbo Subaru cylinder heads all wrapped up for @naeoni_sti Complete overhaul with nothing but quality parts installed. Pocket porting, multi-angle valve job (blended well with the port work), new bronze guides, intake and (inconel) exhaust valves, valve spring kit from GSC, and new Brian crower camshafts. Lash was set and a fresh surface was put on both of these. Got the flex fuel tune finished up today- car made around 720 WHP and 600 ftlbs of torque in 110* ambient at 29 psi on e72-75. Beyond happy with the results. Everything went incredibly smooth, much thanks to @dallasperformance for providing the dyno rental and cannot thank @spectuned enough for all the time and help with this car. The man is an absolute wizard with Link ECU and has made this car run incredibly well and hard. Y bueno, había llegado el día y no les voy a mentir... No tenía ni ganas de ir así... Como les dije, la idea era ir cromado... Pero bueno ya saben. El famoso pasaron cosas xd Llegamos al lugar y había una baaaanda de autos lindos. Me gustaron muchos. Primero nos pusimos en un sector con varios autos del Hondaclub todos juntos, nos saludamos e hicimos esos buenos mates con los pibes.... Y no voy a negarles que apenas abrí el capot la gente se concentro bastante al rededor. Fotos de todos lados, felicitaciones, preguntas, mas fotos.... Y los infaltables toquetones que les cortaría los dedos, (a estos último no los banco) Y aclaro esto: a esto lo digo porque siempre fui un entusiasta que brinda respeto. No toco, no me apoyo, no invado. La gente que hace eso a mi me rompe las pelotas y es por eso que no suelo asistir a este tipo de actives. Pero bueno, no es la cuestión. Sigamos. Estuvo buenísimo, bien organizado, teníamos un buen espacio y estuvo muy entretenido. Al correr el día, después nos corrimos a la otra punta porque el sol estaba potente y uno de nuestros amigos tenia gacebo y chambuchitos Así que le mandamos pal otro lado. En un momento de la tarde, escucho por los altavoces que empiezan a nombrar a diferentes ganadores, dándoles su reconocimiento. Nombraron a unos cuantos, pero el 1 se vino conmigo. En ese momento sentí un agradecimiento increíble, porque yo no estaba contento con el auto en ese estado y aún asi fue el "mas votado" de todo el lugar. Y ahí entendí que de algo triste puede nacer algo muy lindo En este caso, algo tan tonto como un cuadrito. Pero con un valor muy grande para mi. Nuevamente gracias a todos los que en el momento se los dije. Volvemos con las historias con finales felices/no felices. 😂 Acá Sebastián me va a reputiar como cada vez que le recuerdo lo que paso.. Resulta que se venia un evento piola en el Autódromo de Rosario, el cual fui invitado a participar. Seba, mi detailer personal y única persona autorizada a tocar la pintura del H, me ofrece darle una abrillantada a todo para caer con el auto cromado. Entonces sin dudarlo, le lleve el auto a Autokings carcare y empezamos a darle un repaso al coupe de todos lados. El auto había quedado fantástico, brillaba a mas no poder.... Apenas terminamos de repasarlo y dejarlo listo y ya de noche, Sebas me dice... "Anda a guardarlo así mañana arrancamos temprano al evento". Si dale le dije ...... 🤣 Que hizo Jonatan ? se fue de joda y en una sacada que tuvimos, aceleramos con Jair en curva-contra curva y el auto se me fue a full boost y para no chocarlo a el y arruinarle el auto, tire para el otro lado y pumba, a una zanja 😂😂😂 No nos hicimos nada por suerte. El auto se había roto el paragolpes, destrozado lip y doblado un poco el intercooler.. Y menos mal que ese día andaba sinpatente porque sino se arruinaba tb. Ya fue, la cagada ya estaba hecha.... Esta historia tiene un final feliz, ya que así y todo desganado, lo guardamos y casi no asisto al evento, pero gracias a mis amigos que me motivaron a ir igual, lo sacamos al otro día temprano, le pegamos un buen lavado y fuimos sin paragolpes. Consiguiendo el puesto n1 de todo el evento. Próximo posteo vendrán las fotos de ese día.
