Well, I can't believe I've done it. I didn't think I'd ever be able to pull off getting everyone to sign my @theadolescentsusa record. Indeed, this was the 3rd vinyl I ever picked out for my collection which now stands at about 700ish records. There's not much that can be said about the blue album that hasn't been already. The Blue Album lineup of the Adolescents, which is one of the all time greatest L.A. records with a sound that quietly influenced lots of people over the years, and still influences people to this day. A great and flawless debut album. Thanks to Edward Colver for taking the photographs that these poses are referenced from. What else I know from this universe: Welcome To Reality seven inch - great, features THINGS START MOVING, one of their best songs Brats In Batallions lp - Somewhat overlooked, boasts some great songs like I LOVE YOU, SHE WOLF, PEASANT SONG, etc etc. No Frank, but still really good…you still have Tony, Steve and Rikk. Saw this version of the band and they absolutely destroyed. Balboa Fun Zone lp - no Tony, Steve and Rikk sing in his place. Better than you might remember. OC Confidential lp - My second favorite album by them. Rikk leaves, Frank handles all guitar. Derek O Brien from Social Distortion drums. Every song is good. An excellent album. I have to catch up with all of the rest of the records but I am listening to Ceaser Salad Days with their recent lineup and it’s good. Other extra stuff: Rikk Agnew - All By Myself lp - a classic album from this one man band. Christian Death - Only Theatre Of Pain lp - Rikk and his guitar playing dominates. Spooky and gothy. The Elmer Fudd vocal delivery of the late Rozz Williams is pioneering but a little silly to my ears in 2023.
