. 🔸شب گذشته میلیون‌ها نفر از مردمان سراسر جهان، توانستند شاهد رقص نور در آسمان مناطقی باشند که به‌طور معمول شاهد بروز شفق‌های قطبی نیست. 🔸طوفان خورشیدی کم‌سابقه چند روز گذشته به زمین برخورد کرد. این توفان تشکیل‌شده از ذرات باردار پرانرژی زمانی که به دام میدان مغناطیسی زمین افتادند به سمت قطبین منحرف شدند و در راستای خطوط میدان مغناطیسی زمین به جو فوقانی برخورد کردند. 🔸نورهای درخشان شفق قطبی حاصل برانگیخته شدن گازهای مختلف به‌خصوص اکسیژن و نایتروژن جو زمین است که باعث به وجود آمدن رنگ‌های متفاوت این اشباح رقصان در آسمان می‌شود. 🔸طوفان خورشیدی شدید اخیر، نه‌تنها باعث شد تا مردمانی در عرض‌های دورتر از دایره قطبی (در نیمکره شمالی تا ایالت فلوریدا ) این شفق‌ها را ببینند که درعین‌حال گزارش‌هایی از اختلال‌های موقت سیستم‌های ماهواره‌ای و رادیویی مخابره شده است. 🔸خورشید این روزها در اوج دوران فعالیت مقناطیسی یازده‌ساله خود قرار دارد و به همین دلیل هم شاهد بروز تعداد بیشتری از این طوفان‌ها هستیم. ************* Millions of people worldwide were able to watch the #aurora borealis last night in places where they often do not see the dancing lights in the sky. The earth's atmosphere contains gases that can be excited, particularly nitrogen and oxygen, which results in the appearance of ghostly ghosts dancing in the sky and producing the aurora borealis' dazzling lights. In addition to causing auroras to be seen by individuals in latitudes far from the Arctic Circle (in the Northern Hemisphere, up to Florida), the recent severe solar storm also temporarily disrupted radio and satellite systems, according to reports. افغانستان در مسیر فاجعه انسانی! کشته شدن دست کم 200 نفر در نتیجه سرازیر شدن سیلاب های اخیر. گزارشات حاکی از آن است که جاری شدن سیلاب در ولایات بدخشان،بغلان ،غور و هرات تلفات جانی و مالی زیادی را بر هموطنان مان وارد ساخته است. متأسفانه صدها نفر از هموطنان ما در اثر این سیل‌های فاجعه‌بار جان باختند ،تعداد قابل توجهی نیز مجروح، عده تا هنوز ناپدید و نزدیک به 2000 خانه تخریب گردیده است. قابل یادآوریست این سیل‌های ناگهانی همچنین جان ده‌ها نفر را در ماه جولای در افغانستان گرفت، کمتر از سه ماه قبل از آن که هزاران نفر در اثر زلزله قدرتمند 6.3 ریشتری که بخش غربی این کشور را لرزاند، کشته شوند. از سیلاب ناگهانی تا برفباری های بهاری و تخریبات گسترده آنها همه و همه بیانگر تغییر در الگوی بارندگی، اقلیم، عدم آگاهی مردم محل در مورد چنین حوادث و نبود زیر ساخت های معیاری میباشد که در نهایت باعث ایحاد بحران جانی و مالی گردیده است . ********** Afghanistan is headed for a human catastrophe! According to the reports, our countrymen have suffered significant losses—both monetary and human—as a result of the floods in the provinces of Badakhshan, Baghlan, Ghor, and Herat. Sadly, these devastating floods claimed hundreds of our countrymen's lives, severely injured a great deal more, left some missing, and destroyed almost two thousand homes. Less than three months before hundreds were killed in the western portion of Afghanistan by a 6.3-magnitude earthquake, flash floods claimed dozens of lives in that country in July. گزارشات حاکی از آنست که باران های شدید فصلی به تاریخ دهم ماه May باعث جاری شدن سیل در ولایت بغلان در شمال افغانستان گردیده و حدود 72 کشته بر جای گذاشته است. هدایت الله همدرد، رئیس اداره مدیریت حوادث طبیعی این ولایت گفت ؛ که ممکن است شمار تلفات ناشی از این سیلاب افزایش یابد. افغانستان در اواسط ماه اپریل نیز شاهد باران های شدید و جاری شدن سیل در 32 ولایت از 34 ولایت خود بود که منجر به کشته شدن بیش از 100 نفر شد. به گفته گروه‌های کمک‌رسان بین‌المللی، سیل نزدیک به 1000 خانه و حدود 60000 هکتار زمین کشاورزی را در کنار زیرساخت‌های حیاتی مانند جاده‌ها، پل‌ها و منابع برق ویران کرد که می‌تواند مانع از ارسال کمک‌های بشردوستانه گردد. این در حالیست که تخمین زده می شود که 80 درصد از بیش از 40 میلیون نفر در افغانستان برای بقای خود به زراعت وابسته باشند. سیلاب های چند روز اخیر بیانگر آسیب های جدی تغییرات اقلیمی در افغانستان بوده و هشداریست برای جامعه علمی و روسای دولتی تا اقدامات لازمه را جهت کاهش اثرات این پدیده مخرب روی دست گیرند. زیرا این کشور واقع شده در جنوب آسیا در رتبه ششم در میان کشورهای آسیب پذیر در برابر تغییرات آب و هوایی قرار دارد. ******** Reports indicate that heavy seasonal rains on the 10th of May caused flooding in the #Baghlan province in northern Afghanistan, resulting in more than 72 deaths. Hedayatullah Hamdard, the head of the Natural Disaster Management Department of this province, stated that the death toll from this flood may #increase. Afghanistan also experienced heavy rains and #flooding in 32 out of its 34 provinces in mid-April, leading to over 100 fatalities. According to international aid groups, the floods destroyed nearly 1000 homes and around 60,000 hectares of agricultural land, as well as vital infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and power sources, which could hinder humanitarian aid delivery. For instance, the degradation of agriculture brought on by drought and unpredictable rainfall results in the destruction of agricultural regions and a drop in production. 2). Access to potable water: Women must go far to obtain water. 3). Agriculture practises: Climate change has disrupted agriculture practises. Because of the unpredictable weather, farmers are having trouble deciding when the best time is to plant. 4).Food security: Food shortages are a result of climate change. To reduce these crises, food assistance and a new approach to agriculture are therefore required. 5).Diseases associated with the weather increased as a result of hygienic concerns. 6). The women's vulnerability is exacerbated by high temperatures, which increase the prevalence of heat-related illnesses and burden household chores. Water scarcity is a major challenge, as women often bear the responsibility of collecting water for their families, leading to physical strain and increased risks of waterborne diseases. Climate change has disrupted the local economy, resulting in reduced agricultural yields, loss of arable land, and decreased livestock production. Traditional agricultural practices are also disrupted, leading to food shortages and crop failures. فاطمه، دختر جوان که در ولایت دایکندی افغانستان زندگی می‌کند، زندگی‌اش به شدت تحت تأثیر تغییرات آب و هوا قرار گرفته و منجر به پیامدهای ویرانگری برای او و خانواده‌اش شده است. مادر فاطمه به دلیل کمبود مواد غذایی و سوتغذیه درگذشت. در چهار سال اخیر، ولایت دایکندی با خشکسالی مداومی مواجه بوده که مستقیماً به تغییرات آب و هوایی مرتبط میباشد. خانواده فاطمه همانند بسیاری از خانواده‌های دیگر در این منطقه، به طور قابل توجهی به کشاورزی وابسته بودند. با این حال، خشکسالی طولانی مدت باعث کاهش در تولید محصولات کشاورزی آن‌ها شده و آن‌ها را در چرخه فقر و کمبود مواد غذایی برابر ساخته است. فاطمه بعد از درگذشت مادرش،مسولیت سرپرستی خانواده و مراقبت از دام هایشان را به عهده گرفت و به همراه پدرش کار را آغاز کرد. او مجبور بود خانواده خود را حمایت و منبع درآمدی پیدا کند، بنابراین شروع به خیاطی کردن کرد. فاطمه دختری که از تحصیل محروم بود، جز اینکه با مردی 45 ساله ازدواج کند، هیچ گزینه دیگری نداشت. داستان فاطمه بیانگر واقعیت‌های دردناک از جوانان بی‌شماری در افغانستان که بار تغییرات آب و هوا را بر دوش دارند و با آن روبرو هستند میباشد. این موضوع بر ضرورت فوری اقداماتی برای مقابله با تداخل مسائل تغییرات آب و هوا، فقر و نابرابری جنسیتی تأکید می‌کند. تجربه فاطمه به عنوان یک یادآور تلخ نشان می‌دهد که تغییرات آب و هوا نه تنها یک بحران محیط زیستی است، بلکه یک مسئله حقوق بشری بوده که زندگی و آینده جوامع آسیب‌پذیر را تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد. #ourreport #CEYI #Climatechange #womenvilunerability

حضور موسس ابتکار جوانان تغییر اقلیم و محیط زیست در نشست اتحادیه اروپا ، شهر استانبول ترکیه. موسس ابتکار جوانان تغییر اقلیم و محیط زیست محترمه مروه علم صفا به تاریخ ۲۸ سپتامبر ۲۰۲۳ در سومین نشست توانمند سازی پیرامون تغییرات اقلیمی که در حاشیه نشست گروه هماهنگی افغانستان ( EU- ACG ) از جانب اتحادیه اروپا برگزار شده بود اشتراک ورزید. در این نشست محترمه خانم صفا که به عنوان نماینده زنان و جوانان افغانستان حضور یافته بود نگرانی خویش را از تاثیرات تغییرات اقلیمی بالای زنان و جوانان ، توانمند سازی آنها در برابر تغییرات اقلیمی ، میکانیزم سهیم سازی آنها در روند تصمیم گیری ها / اقدامات اقلیمی و ضمناً نقش کشور های حمایت کننده در این راستا را مورد بحث قرار داده و خواهان اقدامات جهانی در عرصه های ذکر شده شد. در این نشست نمایندگان بیش از ۲۰ کشور جهان و سازمان های بین الدولتی حضور یافته بودند که سرانجام تعداد آنها تمایل خویش را در زمینه توانمند سازی زنان و جوانان در مقابل تغییرات اقلیمی نشان دادند. ****** The founder of the Climate and Environment Youth Initiative (CEYI), Ms. Marwa Alam Safa, participated in the European Union meeting held in Istanbul, Turkey, on September, 28 2023. The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the EU-Afghanistan Coordination Group (EU-ACG), focused on climate change empowerment. During the meeting, Ms. Safa, representing Afghan women and youth, expressed her concerns about the significant impact of climate change on women and young people. She emphasized the importance of empowering them to effectively face climate change, discussed mechanisms for their participation in decision-making processes and climate-related actions, and highlighted the role of supporting countries in this regard. She also called for global actions in the mentioned areas.
