It is modeled after actual photographs of Victorian fetish boots dating from 1895 to 1915. I took design elements from each boot that I liked and came up with my own boot design for the pendant. CREATING CONCEPTS ... When Alejandra told me of her summer trip to London, and we decided to shoot together, she proposed to me as location an apartment at Barbican Centre, the house of David/Circa Press. As usual, I wanted create a storyboard: Inspired by Charles Guyette models, Tokyo Decadence intimate surround and Helmut Newton’s narratives, the story is driven by a contemporary styling and sees two models, Miriam and Severine, playing together indoor and outdoor, their persona is reflected in each others figure, at the window and in the external area, where the Brutalist architecture creates a strong contrast with their soft intimacy and their sensual femininity. The outfits reflect this contrast, soft silk caresses the body and is worn with vinyl elements that look like armors, the rigidity of the leather is combined with a sheer bodysuit, floral lace became an intimate camouflage, boots and stilettos elongate the figures creating a statuesque symbol of fetishism. - After creating the storyboard a good stylist must creates different looks, choosing the right designers, Tash helped me a lot in organizing this part, then try things on, thinking to possible scenes, and more than over I love to make the models happy, as a designer, and as a woman, for me is fundamental to respect the aesthetic of the models, and with Alejandra piloting the set, was easy to find myself in a dream team.
