Hello! My name is Deb, and you've found my doula page! A little about me- I'm 29 and have been in love with birth since I was very young. My interest began with my own mother's homebirths, in which I had the honor of being a part. In fact, when I grew up and began my own family, I hired the same midwife to attend my own homebirths, nearly 20 years later! I have two wonderful children who are now 1 and 3, and I'm married to an incredible partner (my own secret doula). My heart lies with minority birthing people in our society, such as BIPOC, differently abled, trans, queer, and neurodiverse. I myself am nonbinary (they/she), queer, neurodiverse, and live with an invisible disability. I have attended several births in the last few years and completed my doula training in February 2020, just before the pandemic shutdown. My youngest is now 15 months old and I am fully vaccinated and ready to jump back into the local birthing community!
