BASPA VALLEY also known as Sangla Valley and it’s one of the most scenic in Himalayas. Baspa starts at Baspa hills, later joins Sutlej River near Karcham. You can enjoy coffee, tea or Maggie at the last cafe of Chitkul. CHITKUL is known as the last village on Old Hindustan-Tibet trade route. It is the last point in India one can travel to without permit. It is also the start point for Lamkhaga pass trek and Borasu pass trek. You can find incredible campsite with beautiful houses made from slate or wooden plank roofs. You can also visit MATHI DEVI TEMPLE which is 500 years old. It is around 45 kilometres from Karcham and 26 kilometres from Sangla in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
