The big event for this trip to Los Angeles was to check out the @cicadarestaurant downtown. I finally wore this pretty terra cotta gown I got from @frocksandfrillsvintage , and my glorious new cape from @spidoraofsanfrancisco ! It is the perfect match for the gown and I just adore the lovely little matching handbag she made just for me! I'm also sporting new gold sandals from @memeryshoes and they were perfectly comfortable all night long. 🧡🧡🧡 That last photo of the cape billowing in the wind is hilarious to me but the cape really was being dramatic all night long, and the breezy Los Angeles evening was definitely cooperating. The James Oviatt Building is an Art Deco gem in DTLA. (Oviatt himself, however, was a certified piece of 💩.) Opened in 1928, the building features a 12-ton illuminated glass cornice and glass arcade ceiling, and doors designed by Rene Lalique.
