Meestal kan ik met veel plezier werken aan iets en als het klaar is redelijk goed afscheid nemen. Maar soms vind ik dat wel heel lastig. Zo'n pop of paardje, wat dan zo lang in je handen en hoofd is geweest. Verrukt bent geweest over een kleurencombinatie, of hoe het karakter zich vormde met het borduren van de ogen, hoe het haar valt, of in dit geval de kleine schoentjes. Bij deze poppen was het moeilijk afscheid nemen er zeker, ook omdat ik er zo lang aan gewerkt heb. En nu zijn ze met lieve vriendin Louise mee naar de markt in Ribe. Want het zijn Viking poppen, stoere, stevige, lieve dames met een linnen onderjurk, wollen bovenjurk, wollen pini's, kralen kettingen, naald gebonden sokjes en leren schoentjes.
