🧡 Felicidade Banner 1/3 Um parte muito interessante do meu processo foi de definir a cor. Eu comecei com o fundo amarelo e a fonte laranja, mas durante o processo percebi que a combinação azul e laranja se adequava melhor a mensagem (em breve irei fazer um vídeo para explicar melhor isso). Outras coisas que posso destacar são as imagens que escolhi para a composição. Cada uma com um significado próprio que tentei resumir em: ♡Felicidade Genuína (bebê) - expressa 100% do que está sentindo. ♡Felicidade Espontânea (homem rindo/detalhe de fundo) - homem lavando a cabeça e rindo quando percebe que estão tirando foto dele ♡Bem estar (Mulher ao centro) - tranquilidade e paz. Design além de resolver problemas também coloca significado nos mínimos detalhes. 🖤 EXPERIMENTATION - BRING ME THE HORIZON 🖤 I had so much fun creating this one. For this specific type lockup, I wanted to experiment with a hand drawn font as I felt it was the best way to translate what I wanted to convey. I then took it to Illustrator to vectorise it and make it look more “clean” and realised I liked it so much more with its imperfections. To me, it conveyed @bringmethehorizon raw lyrics better and felt like a good representation of all their different eras combined. Swipe to see how it started 🫶🏼

Let's talk about colour combinations ... When I started out using watercolour and ink I stuck to one colour in varying shades (the octopus was my first design in this style and it's all a reddy pink) but as the years have moved on, I've started adding more and more colours to one piece. I try and stick to opposite complimentary colours, such as hints of purple in yellow designs (my bee) or blues in orange designs (my recent pufferfish). Recently I started working on a couple of highland cows, the first (the pink on the left) was an experiment but I loved the colour combination so much! The right hand side of this image was the more traditional colour scheme but I couldn't stop myself adding a bit of a bluey green into the fur which made all the difference to the painting in my opinion. Poster 03/100: RACISM-XENOPHOBIA Engaging in a journey of discovery led me to create a series of social posters as a response to the prevalent issues of racism and xenophobia. As an artist, I sought to participate in a poster contest to contribute meaningfully to the dialogue surrounding these important topics. The concept of xenophobia was initially unfamiliar to me, as I had not personally encountered animosity towards foreign elements. However, delving into the subject revealed its profound significance and widespread impact.
