Rockettown 2024 was such a blast!!!💥🚀 1. Got to meet the Ham, the Abominable Snowman, and circus flea himself John Ratzenberger, and has voiced so many other characters of Pixar throughout my childhood.🐷 2. Got to meet Andy from Toy Story himself John Morris and is definitely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. 3. Keith Cooglan came to town and my sis geeked out at the sight of him cuz of My Afvebtures of Babysitting😂😂 4. Got my Croc figure signed by the humble Scot Butler himself, hope you get that Star Wars role in the future keeping my fingers crossed.🐊 5. Got to take a pic with a life sized R2-D2 robot which should be functioning fully for next year. 6. Kylo Ren tried to get me to join the Dark Side but I declined his offer😂 7. Alien Marine Cosplay was really dope as heck especially with the added facehugger looked realistic as heck👌🏻 8. Gave Vault Boy a good old thumbs up for his cosplay which he also had an awesome PIP-BOY and Nuka Cola bottle for the final touch💯 9. Mando came to Lompoc to remind us that “This is the Way.” 10. Cada año se celebra D23, el cual es un evento especial para los fans de Disney. A este asisten muchos influencers y medios, pero lo más importante es que se le otorga el título de "Disney Legend" a un grupo de imagineros, artistas, periodistas, escritos, actores y pare de contar a personas que han contribuído significativamente con la compañía por años a través de su talento e ideas. Este año, dos de mis Disney people favoritos y a quienes admiro muchísimo se llevan ese título y yo estoy super feliz. Sí, esto me hace feliz, soy así de galla y no me importa. 🤣 Joe Rohde, además de ser un verdadero personaje quien posee una curiosidad y conocimiento por las diferentes culturas del mundo y un amor por los animales, fue el responsable de no sólo dirigir, sino CONVENCER al más duro de todos los duros de The Walt Disney Company, Dick Nunis, y a toda una junta de que Animal Kingdom era lo que le faltaba a Walt Disney World para estar completo. Joe impresionó a todos llevando un Tigre de Bengala (de verdad), así como todo su proyecto: África, Asia, un área de animales mitológicos (que nunca se dió) y el espectacular Árbol de la Vida, con 337 animales tallados. Rohde recorrió las zonas más pobres de África y Asia para recrear esas calles, la difficultad y como él llama "el ingenio" de los que viven allí para subsistir. Hoy por hoy Disney's Animal Kingdom es de los parques preferidos y además cuenta con un programa de conservación moderno, el cual no sólo ayuda a animales sino a comunidades en África. 💚🦁 Mark Henn, quien presentó sus animaciones a Disney en varias ocasiones, siendo rechazado en sus inicios por no tener el estilo que buscaban, es muestra de que el que quiere, busca los medios. Practicó, cambió, intentó hasta lograr entrar en la compañía y es quien nos regaló la animación de personajes como Bella 🥀 (La Bella y la Bestia) y Simba. 🦁 Los personajes más queridos de nuestra infancia.
