“To die will be an awfully big adventure” -Peter Pan in Peter & Wendy by J. M. Barrie This book has such gorgeous art throughout it. It’s the 1911 (113 years ago!) first edition of “Peter & Wendy”. The artist Francis Donkin Bedford created these beautiful, detailed illustrations for the key scenes throughout the book. Swipe before + after 👉🏽 I never posted these photos full length because I hated the way I looked and was too self conscious and honestly fearful of negative comments and such. Heck I’m doubting posting these as I type ! Haha my body dysmorphia seems to amplify the more weight I lose. I’m much harder on myself now than I was before. I swear I can look in the mirror and still see myself same as before. I also feel this is something that’s not talked about and how it can mess with you. I put the same pants on today and was starting to pick at myself and decided to look at my old photos and it felt good to see the difference. It definitely reminded me to be graceful and patient with myself. If you’re on a your own journey right now, no matter what phase you’re in, keep showing up. Don’t give up. Like Doc said, “You can't turn back the clock, kid, but you can wind it up again.” 🖤🏁 Remember to be kind to yourself and remind yourself, you’ve come a long way.
