It’s me, so of course I couldn’t pick just one 🤣 3 different books and 3 different styles. Jane Eyre: her imagination, loyalty, intelligence, and desire (and ability) to FIND a family make her one of my heroes. (It’s also very romantic 😆) Silmarillion: Luthien… this is a loose bound based on her name Lúthien Tinúviel daughter of flowers and the starry twilight. I can’t begin to express the impact Lord the Rings had on my imagination as a child and teen… it started with the Hobbit and cartoons when I was a child, reading the books on my own as a teen, then the movies and lastly finding the Silmarillion in my twenties… and the beautiful story of Beren and Lúthien ✨ (this is the latest copy I found on our trip in the UK) Scheherazade, Arabian Nights, Wrath and the Dawn: I own more copies of Arabian Nights than any other book. I was that annoying kid telling everyone Aladdin should have been Chinese 😂 Scheherazade uses compassion, peace and storytelling to change the fate of a kingdom.. and the stories themselves are also magical! Wrath and the Dawn is a wonderful retelling and one of my favorite YA romantacy books! Pixar Fest is finally here!! 💫 And because I am SUCH a BIG Pixar fan, I couldn’t pick just one movie to bound as, so I decided to go with the Pixar ball! 💙💛❤️ I don’t know what it is about Pixar movies but they just hit me in the feels every time! I love the stories and the animation and just everything about it! I even use movies such as Bug’s Life, Finding Nemo and Wall-E in my lessons (yes, even at the collegiate level)!
