For some reason, I got into my head that I wanted to fix Ferrari's. When I made that a reality, it ended up being kind of overwhelming. Not the technical level of it but the people and the social pressure. And ended up being a highly toxic environment for me to exist in. I played this song in the mornings to hype myself up for another day of work. This volvo megasquirt project has been overwhelming and spanning a long period of time. It is very satisfying to say i have the megasquirt pulse to the injectors, and msd spark to the plugs. The neglect that it has seen results in a few very not fun to-dos.. Happy 3/6 day (e36 for you non knowing turds)! I'm going a different route with the trailing arm hardware. The OEM bolt threads extend past the edge of the inner steel sleeve that runs through the bushings. Mine were worn flat and caused play in the trailing arm. So I'm using shoulder bolts to prevent this from happening. Could I have just bought new OEM bolts? I got the LS started on February eighteenth this year (2024). Still have some things to button up, the old gas tank is still shedding and needs to be ditched. I need to get a bigger wastegate put on it. Gotta get a couple things for the HP Tuners, finish the dash installation and get it over to the dyno…but the big thing is it RUNS!!! About 16 years ago, I need a summer daily driver that was big enough for the whole family. At the time I had the Ranger as a summer vehicle and an 86 Thunderbird Turbo coupe as a winter car. I had sourced this 83 Mercury Marquis Station Wagon with its seized engine out of a field about 2 hours away. Had it trailered to the farm. I took the drivetrain out from my Turbo Ranger and sold as a rolling chassis. I proceeded to modify this wagon, installing the 2.3L Turbo engine, T-5 5speed transmission and the interior from a early 90s mustang.
