4 minutes that will remember forever, but not long enough. After years of anticipation we made it to see the total solar eclipse. We drove an hour and a half from our planned destination to ensure we had better chances of an unobscured view. We had intermittent clouds until just minutes from totality when the clouds miraculously parted and we had unobstructed views for the next 20 minutes. We were able to witness it al,l crickets, birds, cooling temperatures, 2 planets, 360 degree sunset, light bursting around all sides of the moon, and most importantly an undescribable feeling of how amazing this life and planet we live on really are. This shot was from my cell phone. I purposely left my camera at home as to not be distracted from the experience and to enjoy it with my wife and 4 kids for what it is. 4 minutes that felt like forever, but not long enough. #lifeisgood #theeclipse #eclipsetexas #eclipse2024 #eclipse #astronomy #astronomyiscool #teampixel

I had the honor of meeting @alexgreycosm and @allysongreycosm at the @texas_eclipse festival last weekend, while wearing my Galactic Goddess look! I caught the sweet moment he turned and saw my face paint in the audience and received such a precious smile. With the help of a crazy ballsy lady I met in the audience, @dr.laurenstocksdale , I was also able to meet them in the back and gift them a bismuth heart crystal and explain to them why it reminded me of them and their love. We are STILL waiting for our truck outside of Houston. Can't say we ever envisioned spending six weeks in Texas at the tail end of our journey. Luckily, we were able to stay with good friends in Austin for some of this time which was great. The remainder has been holed up in a hotel, our longest hotel stay ever in fact. One benefit of being here, we thought, was that we would be near the path of eclipse totality and would see the best version of it. We posted up at the pool and laid back in loungers for a cush view. The weather had other plans. It was super cloudy yesterday and we really didn't get a great show. Glad to have a good set of filters so I could snap a few interesting pics. دیروز اینجا خورشید گرفتگی بود . میلیونها مسافر اومده بودن تگزاس برای تماشا. ماهم رفتیم کلی خوش گذشت جاتون خالی بعدم رفتیم جنگل کمی سبزی خودرو چیدیم باهاش پلو و اش پختیم نگم از عطر و بوی این پلوی لذیذ واقعا جاتون خالی ما عاااشقشیم 😋 پلو غنچه تره وحشی این پلو یکی از پلوهای سنتی ما تو ارومیه هست با گندله(اسم فارسیشو میدونید بگید اضافه کنم ) تهیه میکنیم ، تو بهار یکی از خوراکیهای پر طرفدار هست برای کسانی که اهل طبیعت گردی هستن . . . کپی بدون ذکر منبع ممنوع مواد لازم : یک دسته بزرگ جوانه تره وحشی (گیاه خودرو در بهار) برنج: دو پیمانه خیس شده پیاز :یک عدد زردچوبه و نمک و فلفل قرمز لپه پخته :نیم پیمانه من اینبار استفاده نکردم @ashpazkhone_lili جوانه هارو بشورید و اندازه های دوسانتی خرد کنید ، پیاز داغ درست کنید و ادویه ها رو اضافه و تفت بدید جوانه هارو اضافه کنید تفت بدید در ظرف رو بزارید تا بپزن . @ashpazkhone_lili برنج رو ابکش کنید و با جوانه های تفت داده شده مخلوط کنید ، اگر لپه استفاده میکنید اضافه کنید ، و بذارید دم بکشه ، به همین سادگی ولی بینهایت لذیذ. با ماست و خیار نوش جان کنید. این گیاه رو نمیتونید در فروشگاهها در ایران و یا خارج از ایران پیدا کنید ، مگر اینکه در بهار سری بزنید به بازارچه های محلی که مردم روستایی این گیاه رو جمع میکنن و برای فروش میذارن ♦ فروشگاههای اسیایی مثل Hmart در امریکا غنچه سیر میفروشن میتونید اون رو جایگزین جوانه تره وحشی کنید . . . . . . . . . . . . . #خورشید_گرفتگی #تگزاس #جنگلگردی_بالیلا #تره_وحشی #سبزی_خودرو #طبیعت_گردی #peace #naturelovers #nature #texasforever #eclipse #eclipsetexas
