Up into the mountains in Guatemala we went and we stayed in a fantastic cabin. Our neighbours were Corey and Romy, a lovely Canadian couple that were looking at an adjacent property to buy. We saw a pineapple plant!! After a lovely walk to a waterfall, I stood under it and I could see a rainbow all the way around me. Absolutely awesome. The evenings even got cool enough to light the fire. What a difference to be able to sleep under the weight of a blanket. We slept so much better! So I opened the door. I became so tired of hearing myself echoed in other's heartache and looked around and opened the damn door. The one to my own heart. The one I kept hearing in others. Heute morgen beschlossen wir spontan einen Schnorchel Ausflug zu machen. Also buchten wir den Trip für nachmittags und gingen erst mal frühstücken. Kurz vor dem Trip bekamen wir Flossen und Schnorchel und schon ging es los. Zuerst zu den Flying Fish. Diese konnten wir füttern, heisst die Sardine übers Wasser halten und warten, bis ein Fisch hochspringt um ihn zu bekommen. Durch die Fische angelockt kamen natürlich auch die Vögel, die wir auch füttern durften. Dann gings sich endlic los. Ab zum Riff und ins Wasser. War ganz schön anstrengend gegen die Wellen zu schwimmen. Gleich beim ersten Schnorchelgang entdeckte unser Guide einen Hai. Der schwamm zum Glück schnell weg 😂 wir sahen viele Fische und Krebse. Nach diesem Stop ging es weiter ans Shark Rief... Kaum kam unser Boot an der Stelle an waren wir umzingelt von Haien. Mit denen wir dann schwimmen gehen konnten. Im Wasser wimmelte es nur von Stachelrochen und Haien.. Das war wirklich verrückt. Der Kette Stop war dann noch zum selber snorcheln am Riff entlang. Zu sehen hab es viele Fische usw. Today’s the day!! Today is the day I moved Radar to his new barn. There are a plethora of reasons why I moved him that I won’t go into right now, but so far, he has settled right in.
