Once completed I cut off the excess fabric and glued to the inner hoop for a seamless finish. A combination of the back stitch, whipped back stitch, and split stitch were used in this project, using 2-4 strands of floss throughout. Once completed, I cut off the excess fabric to inch in circumference, glueing to the inner hoop for a seamless finish. A combination of the split stitch, fishbone lead stitch, step stitch, woven wheel stitch, and French knots were used in this project, using 4 strands of floss throughout. Nubi the Corgi 🐕 Commission for @leanne_trud This sweater of this sweet pupper was requested as a birthday gift for her sister ☺️ Leanne sent me a couple of photos of Nubi to choose from, which we ultimately chose one of him smiling, which I used as a template to create the design on procreate. I then printed the design on print and stitch solvy stabilizer, and rinsed it off with warm water once the project was completed. To ensure long lasting stitches overtime, i adhered iron medium weight stabilizer to the inside of the sweater, as well as fusible interfacing on the completed stitch work. A combination of the back stitch, satin stitch, and brick stitch were used for this project, using 4 strands of floss throughout. Thread colours used: DMC: 436, 310, 778, BLANC, 420 I am so in love with how this turned out!! This might be the most favourite sweater to date, and so satisfied with the stitch work that was meticulous but so satisfying to look at once completed. I took his hand drawn design and transferred it onto procreate on my iPad, which I then traced onto a 10” hoop with a frixon heat erasable pen. Once completed, I cut the excess fabric to 1” circumference and glued to inside of the inner hoop for a seamless finish. A combination of the brick stitch, split stitch, stem stitch, back stitch, leaf stitch, and French knots were used for this project, using 4 strands of floss throughout. Thread colours used: DMC: 603, 310, ECRU, 602, 3364, 666, 552, 132, D3852 Unknown: emerald green I love how this project turned out! The brick stitches for the heart and fishes are what really blew me away with this project, that it brought the whole piece together! ⚠️⚠️NSFW⚠️⚠️ Another self-care hoop that I made as a graduation/parting gift for my fellow practicum student @kiara_down 👩🏼🎓👩🏻🎓 The design is from @get.stitch.done which I printed off on solvy print and stitch dissolvable stabilizer, adhering to an 8 inch hoop. Once completed, i rinsed the stabilizer under warm water, cut off the excess fabric to 1” in circumference, and glued it to the inner hoop for a seamless finish. Thread colours used: DMC: 310, 3713, 3326, 224, 3348, 3364, ECRU, 3072, 453, 3753, 519 Unknown: pale and light blue I love the pastel colours of this piece, and I can’t wait to do more negative space patterns like this one! Starry Night Sky ✨🌜 2/3 commission for @kylakat77 This hoop was requested as a gift for her cousin and her new little one Maxwell 😌 I created this template on my iPad Air in procreate, which I printed on Solvy print and stitch dissolvable stabilizer, and adhering to an 8 inch hoop. Once completed, I rinsed off the stabilizer with warm water, cut the excess fabric to 1” circumference, and glued to the inside of the hoop for a clean finish. A combination of the split stitch, satin stitch, and French knots were used for this project, using 2 strands of floss for the lettering, moon, and stars, and 4 strands of floss for the clouds to give it a more 3D look. Thread colours used: DMC: 739, ECRU, BLANC, D3852 I am so happy with how this turned out! I especially love the texture the clouds give the whole piece.
